Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: both (now that i'm 11 days from my due date i'm getting more excited then scared, most likely it cause i'm on bed rest and want him out now lol, i'm still scared too only cause of labor pains, i'm not scared for him to come, just the pains lol)



I'm a new mommy to be and we are so excited! To start off being honest, my husband is in jail and i'm gonna be alone through this whole thing! we dont know how long he is gonna be gone for but its most likely gonna be after x-mas! i'm do in January! So with that said i need as much company i can get! I have all brothers 4 of them to be exact, and my mom is never around so im the only girl in sight!! UPDATE=6/25/08-11weeks-I went to my first doctors appointment today! God i'm so happy its finally over, i couldnt even sleep i was sooo nervous! I got to hear my baby's heart beat for the first time, and yes i have to say i was balling my eyes out!! Sadly i didnt get an ultra-sound today, i have to go back on July.1st to get it done! But they didnt tell me this last time i got one done, that my due date changed!! It was January 21st, now its the 15th!! I honestly thought it was gonna go the other way around, i thought it was gonna get pushed up!! All my due date buddies, nothings has changed but the date, i'm still here to talk with all of you!! She checked everything and said ohhh yea theres a healthy baby in there!! I'm sure you all can share what that made me feel like hearing that for the first time!! I was so nervous and scared! This really made it reality for me today, not that it wasnt befor but something really hit me today when i heard that sound!! Theres really a little human growing inside of me, its the weirdest most amazing feeling! Man it still makes me want to cry!! I wish so bad that my husband was here with me today, i miss him so much, and it sucks so bad he had to miss out on this day! I LOVE YOU! Anyway i just wanted to update all of you! I'm still in total shock right now! My eyes dont even want to blink!!! lol!!

July 1st-i went for my third ultra sound today, and the start of the intergrated testing! i got to see my little bubba for about 15minutes! h/she was jumping all over the place, did a complete flip, the h/she was waving at me! i was sitting there and i couldnt keep my eyes off that screen, crying and everything (really missing my husband), the baby had its hands going everywhere then one just dissappeared, you could see that his/her mouth was open! i couldnt believe the baby puts its whole hand in its mouth!! we were all dying laughing! Our big to in on August 13th! We will find out who's in there!! I cant wait!! I Just wish my husband was here today, he would have been so proud to see his little bubba!! Again i'm in complete awww! i could look at that all day long!! I cant wait to see you again, i love you sooooo much!




August 13th-HE'S A BOY!!!!!! He didnt want to show us anything! I had to get up walk, jump and wiggle around for 15minutes! i got back on and she got the money shot!!! I still cant believe my husband has to miss this! It really botherd me today! They checked all four chambers to his heart and everything is where its supposed to be, and all his measurments are on piont! I got my lil man!!!!!!
Dec.22nd 2008- i just realized i havent put an update on here in months!! My pregnancy has been the most amazing thing i have ever done! Yes there was times i was sick as a dog, sooo tired i couldnt move, nights i'd lay there and wonder if something bad was gonna happen!!! I guess thats what comes with it! i'm now a day away from week 37 with 23 days to go! I weighed in today at 175lbs, i have never been so big in my life!! I had a wonderful baby shower, and my family has really came through for me in soo many ways! I honestly feel like i'm a changed person, my whole focus 25/7 is my son! i just cant wait to meet him! He's so funny already and he's not even here yet! He's so active and so strong! As of today i'm on bed rest, i'm a little over 2cm dialted and between 60-70%effaced, i'm leaking amniotic fluid though! just a tiny tiny bit, so little i really didnt even realize it! The Dr did the u/s today just to check to make sure there is enough in there for him. There is plenty but with a little leak she said it could burst at anytime! So bed rest it is!! lol!! Xmas and all!! i'm due on the 15th of Jan, Doc thinks there is no way i'll make it that long! As long as he's ok when he decides to come im fine with it!! This has been a journey for me, i cant wait to start this new life with a new life!!! I am so excited so nervous soooooo everything i guess!! i just cant wait to kiss thos little lips!!!!
