I am a proud, full time 19 year old wife and mother. My life revolves around my family and friends. I am usually a selfless person. I love making others happy, yet I am very blunt. I am the kinda person that tries to think before I speak or judge people. I always think of the situations they have been in, because normally that is why a person ends up like they are. *Not always, but most of the time.* I am a great listener, and try to be considerate of people. I believe everything happens for a reason, and the only regrets in life are the chances you never take. I love music, I sing and am in the process of learning how to play the keyboard. My whole family is into music, so music comes natural to me.I am a lucky sister of 4 brothers and 2 sisters. I also have a half brother, step-sister and step-brother! Yeah, that's a few kids, huh? I have the best Mom and Step-Dad anyone couldever ask for!I love the outdoors, although more than half the day I am stuck inside, due to the fact that I have two children and the weather is more than we can handle! 80 and 90 degrees, with no pool around is almost suffocating lol. Grilling on our front porch is something we do almost every night. My husband isn't someone I would recommend to send to your kitchen and cook you an edible meal, but he's great on the grill   I love the lake and the beach, which we are luckily going to in a couple of weeks! I am excited!! We are adventurous and love to go to different places.

My husband and I have been together since August of '05. We have known each other since elementary school. I moved from our school and to adifferent county in eighth grade. Different county, different school! My Junior year, I moved back to my old school. The moment I saw Eric, I knew. I didn't know we would get married as soon as we did, and I sure didn't think we'd have kids together. But, I knew sometime within the future, we would have some kind of a strong relationship. Boy, did we ever! We discussed getting married after we got out of high school. Before we got that chance I found out I was pregnant!! We were scared at first, but onceour parents knew we were excited! We got married January 14, 2006. The pregnancy was great! The only "complication" I ever had was "morning sickness." That's more of a lie than the truth, because "morning sickness" is really a code for "24/7 sickness." Other than that, the pregnancy went by really smooth. We decided on a name together. I never felt that one or the other had to pick. I think a child's name means more if both the parents pick. But, of course, that's just my opinion. . .

Zakary Glenn Miniard. ...

Our first baby was born on July 13, 2006 at 2:54PM. He weighed 7 lbs. 8oz. and was 20 1/2 long. Delivered by Joseph Bruner at Fort Sanders Regional. He had a little bit of hair, which was blonde. As it is common in most newborn babies, he had blue eyes, but now has greenish/brown eyes. He didn't cry any, and at first it worried me, but he was awake and looking around. He had great head control from the moment he was born. He was an awesome baby, slept most of the time and when he was awake he'd smile and watch tv. He has always been independent.
I have learned with Zak, that every minute and day counts. Hold on to your child like there is no tomorrow, because in a blink of an eye they grow up on you.

Our second baby was born on February 22, 2008 at 9:19 AM. She weighed 6 lbs. 11oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Delivered by Joseph Bruner at Fort Sanders Regional. She came out with a head full of dark brown hair and dark skin, just like her Mommy! She also had blue eyes when she was born, but they are now turning brown. She, unlike Zak, came out screaming. She cried for about an hour, andI kept telling them the poor thing was hungry. I stuck her binky in her mouth and boy she sucked on that thing like it was going out of style! lol She also has had great head control since the day she was born. We got her ears pireced and shelooks absolutely adorable! I can't wait until she gets older and we can sit and talk about the boys she likes, or her friends and how they made her mad. Just so I can comfort her and be her best friend. Is that selfish of me, or is it just a Mommy thing?
