So.....
My name is Sarah and I am 22 years old.
I live in Indianapolis, Indiana and have never lived anywhere else.
I have two dogs, a Great Dane named Beau and a Boxer named Marley. I love my boys
I found out I was prenant on June 2, 2008 it was a bit of a surprise but I am so stoked!!!
The Dad's name is Kyle and we have been together for just about 6 years
I had my first Doctors appointment on June 19, 2008 and the following Tuesday I was put on Prometrium suppositories for a low progesteone level.
I had my first ultrasound on June 25, 2008 and my due date was pushed back from February 2, 2009 to February 9, 2009!! Everything looked good!!
I am convinced that it is a boy, its just a feeling I have but, we will have to wait until September to find out.
I don't know about names yet, I have a few picked out but I keep changing my mind I had another Doctors appointment in June 17, 2008. Here we go monthly check-ups!
Monthly check upon Aug 14, 2008. Heartbeat sounded great...thats about all that happened.
I had another doctors appointment on Sept. 05, 2008 because of some weird vaginal discharge, it was nothing but got to hear the heartbeat again and it sounded great!! The midwife said it was a happy baby. I also had my blood taken for first trimester screening. I have another appointment on Sept. 11 and then an Ultrasound on Sept 18 to find out what it is !!!!!
AFP screening came back as positive (1:212 horrible for my age) for down syndrome. A special ultrasound has been scheduled to see if the baby has it or not.
Its a Girl!!!! I am trying to convince my SO to let me name her Emmie (not sure about the middle name yet) We will see if I can pull it off. His response as of lately was "I don't know"
I have another ultrasound on Sept. 23 to make sure she doesn't have down syndrome although the ultrasound on Sept. 18 showed no signs of downs at all
We have decided on a name!! Emmie Kaylin Hall it is!! We have also cleared out what is to be her room and are going to paint very soon! I am so excited.
The baby shower has been scheduled for Nov. 9th, a little early but beats the holidays I can't wait to see all the things I may get! I would love to get everything from my registry!
