I had a pretty rough start on my pregnancy. Well I didn't even find out that I was expecting until I was already 3 months in. I was a little reluctant to do a pregnancy test but my sister convinced me to do it. Sure enough it came out positive. I went in for a comfirmation to my pcp and when she confirmed it I began to get a little worried.
Since December of 07 I had been prescribed medication for depression which also led my psych to diagnose me with being bipolar in February. If I had known my body better I would have known that the mood swings and my behavior was due to my pregnancy. You might ask how I went so long without knowing that I was pregnant. Well I have an explanation for that. I was put on SEVERAL medications that had side effects that are symptoms of pregnancy and since my Dr. had told me about them I never thought that it could be a possibility except that I was sexually active at the time. Even missing periods was a side effect. Needless to say that the news came as a surprise.

I see your havinga lil girl, your due on my moms birthday! Wow, you getting excited? I can't wait till my baby boy is here, my due date seems so far away, but Im starting to realize reality and get excited, and I finally started my baby shopping.
