Iam 31 year old German, married to the man of my dreams (American). In February 08 we decided to start trying for a baby and only two months later I found out I was pregnant. We were so excited and I was the happiest woman on the planet. We went in at 6 1/2 weeks and saw our baby`s heart beating. However, only one week later the heartbeat had stopped. My baby had grown so much during that last week and I couldn`t believe that ithad passed away. I had another u/s performed a day later and again it didn`t show any heartbeat. I had my D&C done that very same day on May 30th. One week later I went for my follow-up and my HCGs were still at 25.000. It turned out that the first D&C was incomplete and I had to have a second surgery on June 16th. 12 long weeks later I finally got my first period. On September 8th I went to the Doctor and received the green light for ttc again. I am very excited. The baby I lost will forever remain in my heart. The love I feel for it will never die, but I am ready to move on and hopefully God will bless us with a healthy baby soon. I am so ready to become a mother!

12/05/08 I think I got at very faint BFP at 11 dpo - Excited
12/06/08 BFP (dark as itcan be) at 12 dpo - I am the happiest woman alive!!!!
12/10/08 HCG 398 and Progesterone 16.6 (OB/GYN said we are right on track)
12/15/08 HCG 2122 (Yeahhhhh, doubleing perfectly!!!!!)
12/19/08 Spotting quite a bit. We did an u/s and cervix appears closed. We saw a yolk sac but no baby or heartbeat. Doctor says it is to early. Measuring 5w2d. HCG 7500
12/20/08 Spotting stopped
01/06/09 We had another u/s and I saw the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. My little baby with a strong and healthy heartbeat. 176 BPM and measuring 1.83 cm (perfect for 8w1d).
02/06/09 The best day of my life!!!! I had my 12 1/2 week scan and baby is doing really well. Measuring CRL 6.74 cm and HB at 163BPM
03/02/09 16 week appointment and we found out that we are joining TEAM BLUE!
Everything looked great and HB was 154 BPM
04/03/09 21 week appointment and he is still a boy! Everything looked perfect. Almost 18 cm, HB 144 BPM
