Spencer Trey
was born August 30th, 2006 he weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and was 19.5 inches long
he is my life and i love him more than the world - His father and i were 17 and 20 at the time he was born and split up shortly after, He is still active in his sons life though, and although we often disagree we stay civil for the sake of our child. Spencer has a disorder called Schizencephaly it is a rare condition and nobody is sure what causes it, he has a cleft in his brain that causes his left side to be nearly paralized we do physical and speech thearpy 3 times a week, he is walking and talking and is signing a storm! (( he signs a ton! )) he is getting pretty close to all children his age and is making great advancments, he will have adhd and is almost assured to have seizures however at this time we have yet to expierience any. Spencer is the light of my life, he makes me laugh every day and i could not be more amazed at the things he does..


My fiance Justin is amazing , we met at work and it was love at first sight we havn't been together very long at all but are so happy we have found eachother and very much looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together - he is 28. We are getting married October 10th, 2009 and i am beyond excited!! This is justins first child and it is a very unexpected surprise for us (( Justin was hurt badly when he was in 2nd grade and had test done every 4 years and was always told he had a less than 10% chance of having children )) Justin has become an amazing step father to Spencer and loves him like he is his own, he has been active in my family and is willing to give you the shirt off his back. He is a funny and talented man and can't wait to meet his baby!


Seamonkey is the name we call the tiny baby i've got growing in me, we are super excited for this child and cannot wait, we talk to seamonkey every day and have felt seamonkey very fiercely since about 16 weeks now, seamonkey tends to hang out super low and kick a whole bunch at night or when we are trying to be all makey outie!
** UPDATE ** Seamonkey as of AUGUST 25th is now baby Madeline Jean Zastrow, we are very excited for her arrival and can't wait to meet her! (both madeline and jean hold special family meanings with us, they are family names ) Madeline Jean is always moving and kicking, i've even felt her have the hiccups! She will be welcomed by a very loving family, who is so excited to meet her!



In my spare time (( if i have ANY! )) i enjoy drawing, painting, reading, writing, blogging, i enjoy concerts, and baking and love to watch a good movie and play some nintendo ds.i love indie movies and death cab for cutie, i am pro-choice but know it is something i could never do,i have tattoo's and piercings and plan on getting more, i am very loved and am very liberal, i am addicted to lemonade and have the best time ever pretending to be dinosaurs with my son. that's me. i'm a fairly simple girl who swears too much and is happy to have found love!

Teenage Pregnancy:

I am shocked by the amount of responsible teenage mothers that this site has opened up to me, however i am equally disgusted by the amount of 15/16 year olds who believe they are in ' love ' and ready to have a child. Having a child is not a game, it is not house, and once that baby is out it's not going anywhere -- you are now responsible for another life, a life far more important than your own. I think that many people overestimate their love for their SO -- I was the same way, i thought nothing could break us up blah blah blah, having a child adds a whole new side of people and the love you one had is not going to be like it was before and while few get lucky and the love grows stronger for many it turns out poorly and i think that unfortunatly many girls on here are not aware of that or do not believe that it can happen. I respect those who say clearly they are willing to do it on their own if it happens, because that is what a mother should be able to say with confidence. Men are often unreliable, no relationship is immune to the stress of a child no matter how perfect it may seem. I do not encourage teens trying to get pregnant. I understand that things happen however if you have had a pregnancy scare before and are so glad that you are not pregnant, and then a week later make a post saying you think you are...chances are you were trying and or not preventing to the extent you should have been. With my first child we used protection all the time, things happened between there and we were living under the impression it was one of those ' that could never happen to us ' situations - we were wrong. After my son was born i went on BC and when i met my fiance i will fully admit that me taking the pill was the only form of BC we were using, however we could not be more joyed about this, I have been here before, i know that i am getting into and i am much different than sadly many my age.
