my pregnancy with jessica was alot easier then my first with emily until 33 weeks i started bleeding and have some regular contraction to gp sent my to hospital cervix was closed so kept me in over night to be monitered by the morning had all stoped, so was sent home . on the thursday 8th jan at my midwife appointment i started bleeding again so was sent back in they decieded to keep me in again for a couple of nights, on the sunday i developed appendicitis sp? so was really poorly and in real bad pain at one point i was all gowned up ready for a c- section luckly they tried antibiotics first which helped it settle so didnt need section. they done a scan to check her growth and discovered she was cuting of the blood supply to one of my kidneys which was causing the pain. was kept in all week on pain relif they said on the thursday 15th that if i coped with no pain relif i could go home the friday morning i was desperate to get home coz of emily so i go all day in pain but fight through it to the point i had every thing packed and ready to go for the morning. well friday morning comes so i get up to go to the toilet as im walking back to the ward i feel this popping sensation then am suddenly soaked through my waters had gone so had no chance of gettting home. i woke up sunday 18th jan at about 5.30ish having contractions told the midwife who kindly told me i was not in labour coz i was only 35 weeks and to go back to bed i asked her to phone my husband and she refused as i was not in labour so i called him myself he turned up just before 6am by this point im climbing the back of the bed in agonying still being told im not in labour eventually at 6 they put me on the moniter im 2 mins apart the midwife was like oh ! she checked me and iwas 6cm. by the time they had flapped about and got me to delivery i was ready to push it only took 4 pushes and NO PAIN RELIEF at all for jessica to enter this world at 6. 26 am 5 weeks early weighing 5lb 9oz but all ok all the midwife could do was laugh about how close id come to having her on the ward and said prehaps i should listen to the mums when they say there in labour ! der thought thats her job. we had to stay in for a couple of days and was finally allowed home on the 20th jan all healthly
