My name is

My husband and I met at the end of Feb 2006 in a cell phone chat room, amazingly enough. I was doing my Music Theory homework and asked a question to the entire room asking if anyone knew anything about music and he replied in a private message. We exchanged phone numbers and started talking. We talked for hours upon hours at a time. We met face to face in March. He only lived about 4 1/2 hours from me so we decided to make it work. He technically proposed twice. The first time was July of 2006 but then he got scared since we were both REALLY young and broke up with me. (Literally the worst time of my life!) We never lost touch and got back together in Oct 07 (After I was done with Basic Training for the Army). We were officially engaged again on New Years Day 08. We were married April 2nd, 2008.

We were both active duty military and ended up getting stationed on opposite sides of the country. He was in VA and I was in WA. He came to visit me on Labor Day weekend and that's when I got pregnant. We had our little bundle of joy on Feb 2nd, 2009. Elizabeth Anne was born at 3:41am, 6lbs 1oz, 19 1/4inches long!

When I found out I was pregnant, I left active duty and moved to VA to be with my husband.

Now I'm going to be taking online college courses to get my Bachelor's in Psychology in hopes of working for Child Protective Services or an adoption agency or somewhere where I can help kids in need find homes. I'm incredibly excited to be starting my classes and finally getting my life together! Otherwise, for the time being, I'm a SAHM!

Awareness:


My little brother, who is now 19, has had CP since birth. He has the mind of a 10yr old. He's incredibly smart and you wouldn't really know he had CP just by looking at him. The only problem he has with it is with his speech. It's really hard to understand him. He is also developmentally delayed (hence the 10yr old thought process). I love him very much.
