I'm Mandi. I'm 34 going on 29  I have 1 daughter, Trinity. I'm now pregnant with our 2nd. We've had a long road to having our family. After trying for a couple years to have our daughter, we went through fertility testing. I got pregnant after having an HSG test. Following my daughter, I had 2 MC's. I was tested and found to have a Protein C deficiency, for which I now have to take Lovenox while pregnant. Basically I have a blood clotting disorder, and have to take a blood thinner.
After 7 months of infertility treatments, including 4 IUI's and a month of injectable medications we took a break for a while. We recently found out SURPRISE I'm pregnant. Total shocker, conceiving on our own. So now I just have to get through the worry and hope I have a healthy pregnancy. I had hyperemesis with my daughter, so praying to avoid that this time.
I'm a Psychiatric RN. I work in an acute care locked psychiatric department. After almost 6 years of medical nursing I made the switch, and am so glad I did. I plan on going for my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

December 11, 2011... Surprise you're pregnant
December 14th, 2011... HCG levels 2,629 at 4w2d. US shows possible 2nd gestational sac.

I suffer from Hyperemesis. Luckily I have a less severe case than some women have. I had home IV fluids, but it's let up, so I am lucky in that aspect.
