So my name is Denise and this is my first pregnancy! I found out I was pregnant April 9th and just couldn't believe it so I took another home pregnancy test the next day and wellI was so happy. I went through a lot the first few weeks, it was so frustrating and scary my first visit to the ER I was toldI had a miscarriage but then 4 days later when I returned they said the baby was growing and had cardiac activity. I was going through some mixed feelings. I didn't want to get my hopes up.. so when I finally visited an OB, [April 28th saw the heartbeat] he explained that it's common for miscarriages in the first trimester and it's nothing the mother did. Also he said the risks lower when there is a heartbeat.He made me feel better but I was worried because I was spotting here and there. May 16th we heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time! Aww I was so happy So after all that I finally began to relax, every visit to my OB is a happy visit. I found out what I’m having on July 17th and I am having a girl!
