I was 16 when Devon was born and lived with him, his mom (my aunt), and my grandma for the first 4 months of his life. I held him all the time and soon became the only person that could successfully get him to sleep. As he grew, I would spend every summer vacation at my grandma's living with him. I witnessed his first crawl, his first steps, and was there to hold him when his mother went through postpartum.When I finished high school and got my own car, I started taking him with me on errands just to spend time with him and now he's at our house nearly every weekend. I never knew what love was until he came aboard. Now he's 5 years old (as of July 14) and it breaks my heart to see him grow up.

i've been at the hospital for over 24 hours now, inducing labor. i'm only 1cm! sad;flksdjfsdlk this is going so slow. they gave me cervidil to rest on my cervix over night, hopefully it worked and when they put me back on pitocin, progress will appear!?!? i just need a couple more centimeters, then he can break my water, and this will go faster..maybe...

or maybe i'm just meant to give birth through c section, like my mother
