I'm a 26 year old student. This came as quite a shock! I have a 4 year old step-son, but he is only here 4 days a month, so this will be a huge change! As the days go by I get more excited though. I am really hoping for a girl. I will be blessed either way, but having a step-son I get my share of playing Spiderman and monsters every other weekend. Not to mention that my husband is a fireman and of course he wants to be just like daddy... I can't even count how many fireman outfits and toys that boy has, a barbie is wayyyyyy overdue in this house! I would adore having a little girl to dress and have tea parties with : ). For names we have decided on Amaya Katelynn. If it is a boy it will be Aidan Karl. So either way the baby would share initials with my husband, this way he feels connected to the baby too. So far he's been great and I have no morning sickness, but I guess we'll see how long that lasts....  
I'm lucky enough to have been able to quit working when I found out so I can focus on school and finish as much as I can before the baby arrives. I'm majoring in Medical Administration with a minor in Film (this dream of being a casting director that I just can't seem to let go of!)
I'm looking for friends in girls who are like me and this is your first bundle of joy so we can experience all the changes together... As well as women who have been there that can offer any advice that differs from my mom's prehistoric idea of the way things should be LOL.
