I am a NYC teacher and my fiancee is a Police Officer. Yes we are an all american couple. lol. We recently became engaged, so this pregnancy is quite a surprise. We have not decided if we will move up the ceremony or just wait until the baby is born. We'll see, both is fine with me. I have decided not to say anything to my family and friends until I am at least 3 months. I just want to make sure I am safely in my 2nd trimester. Hopefully I can make it that far. I want to scream out "I am having a baby with the love of my life!!!" at the top of my lungs. lol
Last Menstrual cycle: 6/6/08 (I rememember being happy about it because it came before my bday)
Positive pregnancy test: 7/4/08 (4 tests and one test at the hospital)
First Pre-natal appt: 7/10/08
Heard the baby's heart on the Ultrasound: 7/26/08
Spotting and some clotting scare: 7/31/08

What was your first symptom?: Tender Breasts but I thought it was because I was getting my periof
What is your due date?: Mar 9th, 2009
Do you know the sex of the baby?: no
If so, what is it?: -
Have you picked out names?: yes!
If so, what are they?: Brendon Samuel or Isabella Marie
How much weight have you gained?: gained 2 pounds
Do you have stretch marks?: nope
Have you felt the baby move?: not yet
Have you heard the heartbeat?:YES!
About the birth:
Home or hospital birth?: Hospital
Natural or medicated birth?: lol I want to say natural but I will probably surcome to the drugs
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: Husband and my mom and mil.
Will you breastfeed?: yes I am going to try
Do you think you'll need a c-section? I sure hope not
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: If I am drugged up I'll probably knock out lol. But I will probably cry.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: I love you good to finally meet you
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: Heck no!
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: terrified

Yes, seeing the u/s was awesome! We videotaped it and you can see the arms moving. The dr. said the baby was sleeping, so that is why it's so hard to see.
