first time mommy!
well, first of all, i'm Aimee, and i'm happy to be here where i can talk to other women going thru the same thing- possibly with more experience than i have!
i'm 21 and my husband is25.. he and i were married for a year exactly at the time we got pregnant. i was pretty scared when i found out- mostly cuz i still feel as if it is happening to early in life, and its not when i PLANNED it. lol- i'm sure you all know the feeling! but i also know that not everything happens when planned, and that it would prolly never seem like the perfect time to start having kids! so now i'm past all that and am very excited about having a baby!
at the time i got pregnant, i also had a major surgery, and i would have actually been pregnant during the surgery- so,weare luckyeverything turned out healthy! FYI- the hospital did a pregnancy test, but it was too early to pick up, since i would have only been about 2 days!!
my baby boy breastfeeds exclusively but now we're having fun trying new solid foods!
anyway, i am a student, but have had to take off for the aforementioned surgery andthen for my baby, since i' was due october 14. i work full time at the hospital as a critical care tech, watching the heart monitors and doin other random things that a nurse aid and a secretary would do. i enjoy my job
