I plan to go back to school to achieve my
RN in nursing to become a
Labor & Delivery nurse. (Yes childbirth had a HUGE impact on me). As of right now I am enjoying my time being a
stay at home mommy and enjoying every second of this little girl!
Birth: 7 lbs 11oz 18 inches long
leaving hospital: 7 lbs 5 oz
5 days: 7 lbs 3 oz
2 weeks: 8 lbs 2 oz
One Month: 9 lbs 9 oz, 21 inches long
Two Months: 13 lbs, 22.75 inches long
Four Months: 14 lbs 4 oz, 24 inches long
Six Months: 15 lbs 11oz, 25 3/4 inches long
Seven Months: 17 lbs 8 oz (went for extreme fussiness)
Nine Months: 18 lbs 14oz, 28 inches long
May 30- First BFP, holy shit!!
June 6- Confirmed at doctors!!
June 20- Pregnancy Welcome.
July 18- first appointment at 12w0d--Heard babys heart beat!!!
August 15- 16w0d--Heard babys heart beat again and discussed screening options.
September 4- Felt first flutter
September 15- had ultrasound! It was awesome and found out its a GIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRL
October 13th- regular check up, heard heart beat at 148, healthy little Sophia!
November 7- Horrible back pains
November 10- Glucose test and urinalysis for a kidney infection
November 11- Went into triage center for contractions, everything came out ok, cervix not dialated and is very closed! THANK GOD KEEP COOKIN'. Put on antibiotics to help infection.
November 14- had follow up appointment, all is well and the contractions have went away, found out I failed the 1 hour glucose test
being proactive for 3 hour testing begins!
November 16- found out I failed my one hour GD test, came in at a 172
November 25- thought it would be a normal appointment but doctor said cervix is short and soft, had another ultrasound and stress test, cervix is still at a good length, but soft. Will follow up at next appointment, unless contractions start before then.
December 9- Took 3 hour sugar test
December 10- Found out I failed
, praying that everything turns out alright and she will be ok and going to see dietician tomorrow
December 12- Normal appointment for once. Went over numbers so far and everything is Aok.
December 22- Regular appointment once again. Went over numbers again and everything is just fine.
December 23- passed my mucus plug, called into L&D and said to drink some juice and do kick counts, if all is well in an hour just come in the morning.
December 24- Went in to check labor progress in morning. Cervix checked and am 50% effaced and 3 cm dialated, no contractions, but need to monitor from here on out. Hopefully wont progress for a couple more weeks. Checking progress at next appointment
January 3- Trip to L&D, what they though was my water breaking was just more of my mucus plug, still 3 cm dialated.
January 6- Strep B test, checked my cervix and now 70% effaced and still 3 cm dialated! Doctor hopes to make it through next week.
January 13- GBS test came back negative, 5 cm dilated 70% effaced, going back in to check progress later on today
Went back in at 4pm, was still 5 cm, but having steady contractions, was monitored for an hour and then checked and am now 6 cm, was admitted overnight, had steady contractions all through the night, first 2-5 mins apart, then 1 min apart for over an hour but contractions died off and I was released next morning for no progress
January 17- into L&D again for having consistent contractions, still no progress but drs decided to induce. Water was broken at 11pm Sophia made her arrival 3:20pm Sunday January 18, 2009
