mom of 6year old girl in great relationship with a wonderful guy and finally after 2 years of trying expecting a bundle of joy around march of 09
8-13-08 First dr appt *= ultrasound done to determine due date* 9 wks 5days along
9-10-08 2nd appt 14 wks = heard heartbeat
10-2-08 3rd appt =17wks bloodwork done heard heartbeat again
10-29-08 4th appt = 21 wks Ultrasound told "not 100% sure but looks like a girl"
11-2-08 My daughter Zeanna felt the baby kick for the first time today
11-12-08 Brandon felt baby kick today
11-20-08 Baby is kicking & moving hard enough to be seen outside *Zeanna & Brandon really enjoyed poking the belly so the baby would poke back LOL*
11-25-08 appt with DR had another US done this baby is for sure a girl NExt months appt gotta do the glucose screening

Was it planned?: yes but we kinda gave up it had been so long we had been trying
What was your first reaction?: I was already pretty sure I was, but I was still very excited

Who was the first person you told?: brandon
How did your parents react?: Mom is thrilled
How far along are you? 18wks
What was your first symptom?: nausea
What is your due date?: March 13, 2009
Do you know the sex of the baby?: not yet,go for US on the 29th of Oct
If so, what is it?: hoping for a boy
Have you picked out names?: yep
If so, what are they?: named after daddy if its a boy or Alexis if girl
How much weight have you gained?: about 10lbs now
Do you have stretch marks?: from my daughter yes
Have you felt the baby move? yes its wonderful
Have you heard the heartbeat?: yup good & steady at 140bps
About the birth
Home or hospital birth?: hospital
Natural or medicated birth?: medicated
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: brandon my mom & my sister I hope
Will you breastfeed?: will until i have to go to work
Do you think you'll need a c-section? hope not
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: yeah
What's the first thing you might say to him/her? hard to tell
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: yes I have my daughter's birth taped
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: a little of both
