I'm 20 years old, married to a wonderful man, Daniel who is in the marine corps. This is our first child, and although my husband and I weren't necessarily trying to conceive, we weren't really trying not to, either..This baby is a gift from God and loved so much already!
I'm very scared and very anxious about the situation, my hubby will be deploying at around my 4th month, and will return home when the baby is around 2 or 3 months of age. I know I'll be fine, and my heart tells me my Husband WILL come home and we will be the happy family I've pictured since I first looked into his eyes.. besides, people tell me this pregnancy is all for the better because now I'll have a big belly to cuddle with when I miss him..and evenbetter, a baby to hold while those last few months of waiting for his return creep slowly by...

For a while I was back and forth on whether or not to find out the sex of the baby.. but I'm pretty sure I'll be wayyy to excited to wait!!

Boys Name: Daniel Jameson
Girls Name: Cadence Lynn

May 12th: Date of LMP
June 13th: At home pregnancytest said PREGNANT
June 25th: Blood test confirmed Pregnancy
July 24th: First Ultrasound! 10 weeks 3 days.
August 14th: Second Ultrasound (Hubby was here for this one!)
13 weeks 3 days....heart rate: 162... baby weighs 3oz.

Just browsing through the site to see all the other mommies ....I'm due valentines day and my fiance gets deployed from Lejune about a month or so after ours is born ... my best wishes to you ... pregnancy is so hard, and even harder when the loved ones aren't with you ... everything will be ok though .. keep up high spirits!
