Me and Matt <3



Hi!! My name is Holly. I'm 23 years old and live in St. Louis, Mo. I am expecting my first child (a boy) on Nov. 28th. I have the most wonderful boyfriend named Matt. We have been together since January 13, 2003 and its been the best years of my life. He has accepted everything about me, good and bad, and been there for me no matter what. He truly is amazing!  
This pregnancy was not planned but I honestly believe has brought us closer together. I know, I know... people say that but I think it works for us. Both our families have accepted it and are now at the excited stage. His family has been amazing... Way better than I could've hoped for.
I'm also the 3rd of 6 kids (ages 24,23,23,15,13,4).I know, busy momma, right? I also recently became an aunt to a beautiful little girl named Hannah Grace. Her mom, my sister, is married to a marine and they are stationed in 29plams, Cali so I haven't even seen her yet but will soon.

33 Weeks!

****Update****Alex is born****

My son was due 11/28. I went in for my 35 week checkup on 10/27. I was also nervous because he hadn't been moving as much as usual. I knew later on in the pregnancy they slowed down because of lack of space but I knew this was too much. Needless to say I was so happy to even hear the heartbeat that day. My doctor was out that day so I saw the nurse practitioner who suggested we do a non-stress test. We did that for a hour and altho he was moving his heart rate wouldn't spike. It stayed in the upper 130s-low 140s. She decided to send me to the hospital for further monitoring. At this point I was in tears I was so scared. I got to the hospital and they did everything they could to get his heart rate to spike but he just wasnt happy. They then decided to monitor me overnight. The next morning my doctor came in around 8 and told me I was going to see the high risk doctor and that we would go from there. I got there and my doc and the high risk doc were there waiting for me. They thought he had stoped moving because of loss of fluid but I hadn't been leaking anything which they also saw from the ultrasound. Sothey decided it would be best if he was out of womb. They wheeled me back to my room and people started flying in and out of my room... I mean, I thought I was going to have some time to prepare.... Call my boyfriend (he was working), family, etc. I got ahold of my boyfriend who came as soon as he can but I was already laid out on the table all doped up on meds when he got there. My son, Alexander Thomas, was born at 9:43AM. 5lbs 14oz and 19in long. He had some trouble breathing at first but is now a beautiful baby :0)

BTW... The c-section was the most beautiful thing ever. No labor pains, no waiting, and my scar isn't even that big

Oh no, my sister and I were talking about doing a cake in a box... putting all the ingredients and things you would need to make a perfect cake but we have'nt gotten around to testing it out... one day
