hey ya'll =)


First off, I'm 19 and live in a little town called Jasper, where on a Friday night you can find most everyone at the football game and the others hanging out in the parking lot of Kroger. =) Currently, my boyfriend and I have been living together for over two year now. I've come to realize through our relationship and through my pregnancy that he is truly amazing and without him, I would not know love. I am grateful for everything in my life as well for everything that is not.

Currently, I have the luxury of staying at home with my baby girl with the exception of one or two shifts at my mother in law's restaurant. In the fall I start working back at a local propane company where I will be able to work full time and still have Carleigh with me. Perfection, right?

I am also going to school full time to become a phlebotomy technician. Eventually I work my way up to becoming a LPN. School is very important to me since having my daughter. She pushes me to work harder and give her nothing but the best I can. And I'm certainly trying to do so.

I am the godmother of two wonderful kids, Makenzy & Ricky, 10 months and 2 years. They're a handful but I love 'em like my own. I can already see it... Carleigh and Makenzy will be total BFF's and she'll grow up to marry Ricky.   He already calls her his wifey.

& now for the most amazing day in my life:
Friday April 3, DJ and I welcomed the most beautiful little baby girl into our lives. She weighed in at 6 pounds 5 ounces and 19 3/4 inches long. It was the most amazing experience in my life, one I'll never forget. My little angel already has mommy and daddy wrapped oh so tight around her finger. She's my heart, soul, and life.

Carleigh has changed my entire view on life. Like I said she pushes me and makes me want to give her nothing short of the best. I do everything I can to ensure she is happy and has everything she will need. It still doesn't feel like she is mine... almost like I'm still baby sitting. I just can't believe I could be so lucky to have such an amazing daughter like Carleigh and a wonderful boyfriend like DJ.
