My name is Jen and I am from Northwest Indiana. I work for a hospital in my area as a CNA while I go to school for my RN degree.

I got married May 17, 2008 to a wonderful man. We have been together since June 2002 and have known each other since March 2002. He is currently licensed as a Journeyman Plumber in Indiana and Illinois, and works in Chicago.

We purchased our home in December 2007 and have just started the renovation process. It's a good home for now, until we outgrow it.

Our "babies" right now are our furbabies. We have a 5 year old female cat named Ami and a 1 year old female Siberian Husky named Avalanche.

Other than that, I am an easygoing, funloving person. I always see the best in people, and I am a very laid back person.

When did you find out you were pregnant?: April 8, 2009, although I had a feeling for about 2 weeks.

What was your first reaction?:Ummmm, okay. What do we do now?

How did your parents react?:OMG my mom was SO excited and so was my dad, although he told me he's getting too old for this, haha!! Tim's mom was ecstatic, and his dad was excited  
How far along are you?:15w 1d (06/17/09)
What was your first symptom?: I was SUPER tired, and although I was bloated, it wasn't the normal PMS/period bloat. So I knew something was up.
Do you know the sex of the baby?:Not yet, but we hopefully will on July 8, if Twig cooperates.
If so, what is it?: I had a dream it's a boy and another that it's a girl, so we'll have to wait and see!
Have you picked out names?: We finally decided on names!!
If so, what are they?: Not telling yet.
How much weight have you gained?:None...I lost 7 pounds from inability to stomach anything, but so far,I've gained 3 of that back  
Do you have stretch marks?: Nope
Have you felt the baby move?: I think, but I'm not sure.
Have you heard the heartbeat?: We did! It was 160 at our appointment on June 10.

Home or hospital birth?: Hospital
Natural or medicated birth?:I am hoping for natural...a water birth would be wonderful.

Do you think you'll need a c-section?: I am not planning on it unless it's what is best for me and the baby.
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?:I usually cry at anything, except our wedding day,so I really don't know.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: I can't even imagine.
