I am currently expecting the arrival of Mya Olivia on or around January 27th 2009. I am recently married on September 6th 2008 to a wonderful man! I work at a daycare 25 hours a week and i am a float going from age 6 weeks to 12 years. We have 2 beautiful cats named Whitie and Neko. We are going with a winnie the pooh theme

~Updates~
May 28th~ Took pregnancy test after about 2 weeks of swollen breasts and tenderness. OMG it's positive!
May 30th~ Went to the doctor to confirm the pregnancy!
June 26th~ Went in for my first OB work up. Also scheduled my Dating ultrasound.
July 3rd~ Went to Mayo Methodist Hospital and had the dating ultrasound. Found out I conceived on May 6th, and am due January 27th. We were able to see the baby swimming around and the heartbeat was 181 BPM.
July 31st~ Went for my second OB appointment. I gained weight for the first time in
my pregnancy. We were also able to hear the babies heartbeat for the first time. It was
155-162 BPM. We also scheduled my Formal Ultrasound on Sept 3rd.
August 1st~ Have pretty well decided on the names for the child. If its a boy
Logan Bruce and if it's a girl Mya (we are unsure of a middle name currently)
August 5th~ Have decided that if its a girl we will name her Mya Olivia.
August 22nd~ While laying on my tummy after drinking 1/2 of a can of Diet Mountain Dew (which is the only caffeine i have drank my entire pregnancy) I for the first time felt the baby. It was only a couple times, but it felt like someone was tickling me from the inside *like with a feather*. I really want it to happen some more!
September 3rd~ We got up early to go to the Methodist Hospital to have our long ultrasound. The BPM was 150. The baby has 10 fingers and toes, 2 arms and 2 legs. We also found out the sex, but aren't announcing it until our Wedding on September 6th.
September 5th~ Monthly doctors appointment. Also the results from the U/S scan. Everything is going along great! Have to go for myGlucoseTesting on the 26th.
September 6th~ Mommy and Daddy were married today! Now we anticipate the arrival of our little girl, Mya Olivia Houston! It was an amazing day!
September 26th~ Went in for my Glucose testing and my monthly appointment. I am negative for GD! I was uber excited! Mya's BPM was between 147-152. Everything going well in pregnancy thus far.
Oct 25th~ While watching Anime with DH, Mya was moving around (like she is more as each day progresses) Daddy felt you move for the first time! Mommy almost started crying it was so amazing!
Oct 28th~ Monthly doctor's appointment. Mommy talked to the doctor about her depression and I have an appointment with a psychologist on the 18th. Mya is measuring spot on and her BPM were between 149-152. I have my next appointment Nov. 19th.
Nov 1st~ Mommy had her first baby shower today! You got lots of goodies for you to wear and play with! Everyone loves your room and can't wait to see you!
Nov 14th~ Mommy had quite a scare with you that ended me in L&D for the first time. We found out you are transverse (which means you are sideways) and thats why it feels like mommies tummy is numb. You are doing great though! You were even taking small practice breaths! (my little over achiever!) which the doctor said you should be be actually doing that in the next 2 weeks! Boy have you gotten big!!!
Nov 19th~ Mommy had her monthly OB appointment. Your BPM were 147-152 (like normal!) and you are measuring spot on. Mommy talked to the doctor about her L&D visit and he informed me that I need to watch out for some warning signs of pre-eclampsia. Mommies blood pressure was a lil higher than normal. So we are going to be pro-active about it! Other than that everything is going good!
To a courageous young boy who stole all our hearts!
