I'm newly expecting
and very nervous and excited!


I've miscarried before and I'm terrified
to let myself get attached again but I'm praying this peanut sticks!

This pregnancy was a surprise, as I was on birth control after my miscarriage last August but.. there was a mix-up with my prescription and my first week off birth control... we conceived! So it was a total shock but we're ecstatic.  













*LMP around the 25th of March*
April 26th - Clearblue digital says Positive!

April 27th - Told our moms

May 12th - First appointment: had blood work done, urine tests for glucose and protein, weight check and our first ultrasound where we mostly saw the gest. sac! Looks like our little peanut is younger than we thought, the doc measured baby at 5w5d.

May 26th- 2nd appointment: had an ultrasound and heard precious peanut's heartbeat going strong at 168 bpm   , date got changed from january 7th to the 5th.

June 23rd- Just a regular appointment, everythind was good, heard peanut's heart beat

June 24th - Woke up with bleeding (which seriously scared me!) and went in for an ultrasound. Baby looked perfect and was doing the robot in mommy's belly but the placenta was low. Got put on pelvic bed rest and told to "take it easy". Heart beat was 158.

June 30th - Still spotting so went for a follow up ultrasound. Baby was sleeping face down but still doing good. Heartbeat was 144.

July 21st - Regular OB checkup, heartbeat was strong.  

August 18th - Had the big ultrasound! Everything was measuring right on schedule, heart, brain and spine were all perfect.. and we found out, our baby has wiener! haha

Sept 15th - Everything checked out perfectly, still losing weight too!

Oct 13th- Took my GD test.. everything came back normal.

Oct 27th - Ultrasound to check baby boy for size, since I've lost so much weight... he's growing perfect at almost 3 and a half lbs.  

Nov 10th - Regular OB checkup...

November 24th - Ultrasound and getting checked for Group B Strep, I believe...
