BABY:
Pregnant with our first and super excited!!! It's been a perfect pregnancy so far...no sickness, no complications, no stretchies (of course, it's still way early), and our little one is growing beautifully and has a nice strong heartbeat!! I couldn't ask for more right now!  

Had my first ultrasound on October 6th, and it was still a little early to be totally positive, but the tech said to him it looked like a GIRL!! I would have to agree, I saw the three little lines and it definitely looked like a little princess to me...but time will tell!

I'm FINALLY starting to show...well, kind of. It's been 4.5 months and up until this point, I hadn't even gained water weight...now I'm finally starting to put on a few pounds, although I'm sure people think I'm just getting fat. I guess I'll probably have to tell people at work sometime soon (we've kept it very quiet--this pregnancy is not yet public knowledge). I'm still a size 0, like I was pre-prego, but I feel like a stuffed sausage a lot of the time! I should probably invest in some nice stretchy maternity pants!  

ME:
Name's Elizabeth...engaged to the love of my life, Rob, and getting married whenever it's convenient/whenever we find time (we're thinking of eloping...I'm just not a big wedding planning kind of a girl). I'm a little nervous about the baby...I'm among the first of my friends to go through this, and Rob and I both JUST finished school so we're kinda scrambling to find jobs and all that, but it'll eventually work out.

Definitely very into the whole fashion, makeup, hair thing...yeah, I'm a MILF (in training)!  

US:
Rob is currently dividing his time between living in his hometown half the week (about 2 hours away) and staying at our condo in Chicago with me the other half (I'm from the suburbs, so I'm staying with my parents during the half of the week he's gone...I get lonely!). He's continuing to work at his job in his hometown while he looks for jobs in the city...he just had a job interview, so we're crossing our fingers something works out soon for him!!

Currently moving into our new condo in Chicago...the place is a mess, we're painting and doing all kinds of renovations on the place, but it'll soon be a gorgeous home for us and our little one!!

On the agenda:

This week ~ Hoping to hear about insurance...there's a lapse in coverage, so right now I'm technically uninsured, until I get my new info in the mail...ugh, so frustrating!
After that ~ Scheduling another appointment with my ob/gyn and probably another ultrasound sometime shortly after that...we should be able to tell if it's a girl or boy by now!

I'm always looking to meet people, especially younger, first-time moms like myself...don't be shy, I love to talk!!

Mine are always sooo random, too. And now that you mention it, chocolate milk sounds really, really good. It would go really good with the chocolate cake I'm practically orgasming over right now lol.

Aww Averie is a really cute name! And it's unique, too. For a girl...the middle name is going to be Karolina after Nik's late grandmother, and for first names we both really like Zoey, Kiley, and Harlow (after Jean Harlow, not Nicole Richie's baby).
