Hi, my name is Ericka. I am 21 years old and have 2 children. My first was a boy,we found out I was pregnant in August (3 months) and on October 31 we found out that he had died from DownsSyndrome.I was induced for him on November 7 (2 days after my birthday,5 days after myboyfriend's) and he was delivered November 8. My beautiful baby boy (Brenden Jack) now lays with his great great grandparents,a great aunt (who died at birth) and a great uncle (who died shortly after birth). I also have a beautiful baby girl who was born December 1, 2008. She isperfect in every way, I just adore her.
I am not married but I am in no rush, my boyfriend and I are so much in love there is no doubt in my mind that we will be together forever. We were a couple in high school, from the end of 9th grade to the beginning of 11th, then my mother made me break up with him.And to be completely honest with you, if I had it to do over again as much as it hurt, I wouldbecause our love now is so much stronger.We both had a chance to grow up and experiance different things.We got to know what it's like to bewith other people andI can say with confidence that I am happy with the man I have.
I love to bake. Ifyou were to ask anyone (specially any of my boyfriend's co-workers) you would hear that I make some awesome baked goods.I enjoy spending time in the kitchen.So I guess my job (for now) is perfect for me. I am a bakery clerk at the local grocery store. It's not the perfect job, I kind of wince when I tell people, I mean itIS embarrassing to tell the people who had such high hopes for my future that Iam back at the grocery store after my valientbut failed efforts at college. But I hope to soon go through the Basic EMT course and become an EMT-B like my boyfriend.I also would like to go back to college to either be a teacher or a case worker for children in the "system" but I may not depending on how much I still enjoy EMS when I get out of class. My boyfriend like I mentioned is an EMT and a dispatcher and works for the local Ambulance company. He is great at what he does and he loves every minute of it. I am so proud of him. He works a lot and I sometimes get a little annoyed by that but he means well and he loves to support his family.
I love to write. Well, at least I used to. I have kind of gotten discouraged from writing. I just can never write anything I deem good enough and it really bugs me so I have kind of stopped. But I am big on grammar and spelling, I mean I can understand spelling things wrong on accident but when you do it on purpose, that irritates me. Same with grammar. I know my spelling and grammar aren't perfect but at least I make an honest attempt at not sounding foolish.
But that is pretty much all there is to know about me. Hm, I wonder who will actually take the time to read this lol.
