I am a wonderfully blessed lady. Happily married to my high school sweetheart. Very attached mommy - the whole 9 yards - homebirthing, breastfeeding, no vax'ing, co-sleeping, no CIO, gentle discipline, homeschooling, and on and on and on LOL!!! I just belive that children and families do best when as much as possible is home-centered/ home-based. So while I agree "it takes a village" I have a completly different idea of what that villages role is ;-) In my :ahem: spare time (you know that time you carve out between goodnight kisses and litterally falling out on the couch LOL) I like to mess with photo shop, scrapbook, decorate cakes, embroider.
A little about my littles...
Kristofer was my first - I was 16 when I got preg, 17 when I had him. He was induced on his due date. Nursed for 6 months. We graduated, had a baby and got married within 6 months LOL
Heaven was my 21 birthday conception ;-) Planned homebirth, transfer during transition - nursed for 2 years.
Issabelle came when I was 23 - homebirth - nursed for 2 years.
Jazmine is our miracle baby - born at home when I was 26. At 2 months old she went into Congestive Heart Failure and thats when we found out she had ASD, VSD and CoA (in English - she had a small hole in the upper chambers, a large hole in the lower chambers and her aorta had a 'pinch' in it). Repaired on Fathers Day 2007. Her left vocal cord was paralyzed from all the tubes, thankfully she is still able to drink w/ a thickening agent. So I pumped exclusivly for 14 months. Having to wean in July 2008 because the newest little bun in the oven apparently decided to not share the nutrients and my milk supply went kaputLOL
?? - planned homebirth - praying for a perfectly healthy baby - but if its not to much to ask a boy would be really really nice :-)
