I joined Baby Gaga on Jul 17th 2007!
I guess I've never really taken time to say much about myself on BG, so here goes: I am 42 years old. I am a single mother of four, and now I have one more on the way. I was actually married in the past -that's where my first three came from. I lived celibate for about ten years, until I met Greg. He seemed to come into my life at a time when I needed him the most. I guess by that time, I was also more than ready for a new relationship.
I love my children. I love being pregnant. I love having babies. Children are all so wonderful and unique! I believe that a pregnant woman is the most beautiful woman in the world!
Before I had any children, I put my hand on my belly, and I asked God for leaders and warriors, and I believe he answered my prayer. Each one is so different, and all are leaders in their own right. My oldest is now 15 and going to the ninth grade. He began playing drums when he was one year old! What I mean by that is, he would go into the cabinet and the toybox and stack up his baby toys, and he would play them like a drum set. Now, he is a very good drummer. He plays at my church and his dad's church. He also plays for a well-known nonprofit children's choir - I won't mention the name. He's never met a stranger. He will remember your full name even if he's only met you once. I told him he could be the next president of Baldwin-Wallace College, b/c when I went there (Class of '89), our president, Neal Malicky, could remember names like that!
My second child is 14. She is a gifted child with a very strong personality. She is a good speaker, she can sing, and she plays double bass. She has a good eye for fashion. She's tall and lovely, standing now at 5ft. 11inches tall!
My third child is 12. He's such a sweetheart. He's the compassionate one that holds the door for me, helps me to shop, put the groceries in the trunk, and then unload them at home. He's the type that will change the roll of toilet paper because it's the right thing to do, not because I told him to.
My next child is now 19mos old. She is very intelligent and has a lot of spunk. I can't wait to see how she develops in life.
And, now, here comes number five. It remains to be seen what kind of child she will be, but I love her already. She's a princess in my eyes.
