I am a grad student majoring in Library Science and also work full-time at a Public Library. I have a Bachelors degree in Painting and Printmaking and use my skills to paint my series of Urban surroundings. I am married to a wonderful man who is finishing up on his PhD. in Chemical Engineering. We always wanted kids and I am very excited to find out that we are pregnant.

I am somewhat confused on it at times too lol. I have been on so many different ones! I am currently taking Lantus (my long acting suposed to work for 24 hrs) and Humalog (my short acting isulin) I take 30 units of the lantus twice a day, what they call a split dose and it seems to be workig better. And the Humalog I take with meals. I take 3 units of Humalog for each carb serving I eat. The echo is because we as diabetic women run a higher risk of having heart and Spinal deformities in our babies.
