I am currently TTC with the love of my life Hampton! We have been married for a year and a half and dating for about 4 years! We have decided that we are ready for a sweet little one to join our family. Hampton is a singer and guitarist (as well as a jack of all trades randomly playing mandolin, piano) in a band as well as helping his dad run his company. I also help out with the family business but am mostly a housewife. I was a photography major in college so I also shoot a lot of bands(thanks to my husband!), a couple of weddings, and a lot of random still life. We are so excited to conceive but we are also looking into international adoption, so if anyone has adoption stories I'd love to hear!

We currently are taking care of a foster baby, Callie, and she's a honey! She was dropped on her head by a family member. Since it was a single parent situation she had to be placed in foster care. That's as specific as I can get about that. But she had a CT scan which revealed a skull fracture and cerebral bleeding so she was transferred to pediatric ICU. Unfortunately the left side of her body began to fail because of the pressure on the right side of her brain. Then she began to have seizures. She had surgery to relieve the pressure and drain the blood on her brain, she was reliant completely on the ventilate for a full week. She is now going through OT, and PT to learn how to breathe and suck alternately. She's now on seizure medication and will be wearing a helmet for maybe a year. She is doing great and has a great chance of a fantastic recovery since her brain is still developing. So send prayers her way! She's a fighter!
