Hola - the name's Sara & I'm 25y/o.I am pregnant w/my first child. I was praying for a girl, but life has a mysterious way of bringing things your way! I've had a previous MC in '06 & since then am forever worrying about this pregnancy - so far so good, though.

My hubby has a son, Matthew Michael,from a previous marriage, so I'm already a step-mom to a 7y/o little boy... I wanted another girl in this family to help balance out all that darn testosterone!! *LOL* I'm also a Mom to quite a few "fur-children" - 3 Boxers (Prada, Nico & Chanel No. 5). I love my dogs to pieces they're just so awesome & goofy - make me laugh every day! I also own 2 horses & we raise calves& own a small flock of chickens (nothing better than home-grown eggs)!

- as much as I wanted a girl, seeing the precious little guy hiccuping & yawning inside me was just amazing. Now I just have to pray for continued health!

11.24.08 UPDATE
Had a Level II u/s done today to rule out any problems. Was told at my previous u/s that enlarged kidneys were seen & an echogenic bowel. As of this u/s, ALL IS WELL!! I'm SO relieved - best early b-day present I could ask for! The Dr. said his kidneys were measuring at a 6 & that he considers this normal... and that his bowels looked 100% healthy! YIPPEE!!!!!
