The Third

8 lbs, 4 ozs and 20.5 inches
Aug 25 - 6w3d. First appointment. Saw heartbeat.
Sept 13 - 9w1d. Went to hospital b/c of heavy bleeding. Found out I have a subchorionic hemorrhage. Baby showed us it's dance moves on u/s!
Sep 22 - 10w3d. Follow up appt. Baby is 1.5 inches.
Oct 6 - 12w3d. Baby K waved and showed me all five of its little fingers. Looks like the hemorrhage has disappeared.
Nov 3 - 16w3d. Heard the heartbeat for the first time with the Doppler.
Nov 5 - 16w5d. 4d ultrasound. IT'S A BOY!
Dec 13 - Felt the first kick
Dec 29 - Daddy finally felt Buddy from the outside
March 6 - Preterm contractions. Gave me shot of terbutaline to stop them.
March 17 - 50% effaced.
March 25 - 1 cm dilated. Weighs 7 lbs 11 oz. Estimated weight of 9-10 lbs full term!
March 31 - Still 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. May be pregnant forever.
April 13 - Trace arrives!
