Hi, My name is Shyla. I am 23 years old. I have one child...I am one of 8 kids.. broken up between my parents. I have two full blooded brothers, three half blood brothers and two half blood sisters. I do not think of them as half. Its just easier to explain that way.
My other half and I tried for three years before we finally got pregnant....Our son was born on april 21st of 2009 and he is perfect. I am in love! Levi is from the bible, Jack is his dads grandfathers name and he has his daddy's last name. I breastfed my son until he was six months old. I would have loved to do it longer, but I no longer was producing enough milk no matter what herb or food I tried.
I have been with my significant other, Mike aka Rooster since june 15th 2005...we struggle in life day to day on different things but in the end it is worth it, but we are best friends and our child completes our life. We are choosing not to get married. Neither one of us think marrige means anything.

GROWTH AND MILESTONES
Birth - He could already hold his head up on his own. He was 8 lbs 9 ozs
2 week checkup - He is already past his birth weight! He ended up losing a pound and gaining it back plus some! He was10 lbs5 ounces
2 months - Rolling over one way. He is a big boy...15 lbs 10 ounces
4 months - Sitting up unassisted and at 4.5 months finally rolling both ways. 18 lbs 13 ounces6 Months - 11/05/09 he weighs 20 lbs 11 ounces AND 11/09/09 He got his first tooth
My Stances on hot topics
Religion and God - I do believe in god, and I believe there are reasons for everything. I don't believe in any one specific religion, buta mixture of most of them as one. There are things I view as right and wrong from each religion.
Breastfeeding : IM A BREAST FEEDING ADVOCATE ALL THE WAY. Babies were born to be breastfed.
Cicumcision : I believe that boys were ment to be uncircumsized...god made them that way and it should be your sons choice when he is older...
Abortion : I am pro-life.I believe life begins at conception. I believe abortion is a form of murder.
Cry it out method : I don't believe in this. I think a baby cries for a reason.
Vaccines : Besides the H1N1 shot. I have given my baby his shots...better to have a autistic child, rather then one dead from some illness.
Extended Rear Facing - I believe in this, better to have a child with broken legs, rather then a broken neck.
