alllast visit: 25th Novmember since: Oct 2nd 2008about me:
I am 29, expecting my second child. Just graduated with my bachelors and I work full-time. I plan on working up until my due date (God willing). I am really excited about all this new baby has brought to my life because my son is 10 years old and this is like starting over again. I don't remember many things from my first pregnancy so it's all so new and exciting!!! Good luck all!

June 11- Last AF

July 9- missed AF

July 17- first and second positive HPT... yeah I was in denial

July 18- took third HPT in the morning just to be sure...

July 21- went to family practice doc just tobe absolutely sure HPT was accurate and they were. Given an EDD of March 18th according to my LMP.

July 21- went to OB and got my first blood to take HCG levels

July 23- blood draw for HCG levels

July 24- Started having bleeding, it was a lot to me but it only happened that one time... thought I had miscarried

July 30- got an u/s, my levels were doubling as they should but according to my LMP doc only saw gest sac and told me that I would have a miscarriage because I had bled last week and we didn't see the baby's heartbeat, told me it was a blighted ovum. I was devastated and was supposed to come back on Aug 1st for another u/s to see if there were any changes. I decided that if I was going to miscarry I didn't want to go through the u/s and I would just not waste the money going back to the doc just to find out my baby had died. So I decided to wait a month and if nothing happened I would go back to the doc and get another u/s.

August 29- I never bled again after that one time and I was sick as a dog the whole last month and went back to the doc and we saw the baby with a strong heartbeat of 166 and measuring 9 w 4 d on the u/s. My baby was alive, growing, and VERY active. Needless to say I will not see the same doctor that told me I was going to miscarry. Apparently I ovulate late in my cycle so my period was not giving an accurate due date. My new due date was set to March 29, 2009!!!

Sept 9- First OB work up. Couldn't find the baby's heartbeat with the doppler so of course my feelings of dread set in again. Doc sent me for an u/s and we again found the baby alive and kicking. Apparently my little one has ADHD or something because it won't sit still long enough to get the heartbeat with the doppler   Even the u/s tech took about 10 min before it would stay still long enough to get the heartbeat. It was 157 bpm.

Oct 10- Second OB appointment. Got to hear the heartbeat (like music to my ears) and answer a few questions. Made my appointment for my gender u/s. Got my blood work and went home.

Oct 22- Had some bleeding again. Went into my OB for an emergency u/s. Baby and my cervix were great. The tech said the baby looks like a girl but she didn't want to say for sure because I was only 17 w 4 d. So I have to wait until Nov 14th to know for sure.Turns out my bleeding was from all this damn constipation and straining to go to the bathroom.... TMI..... grrrrr constipation!

November 14- I got my u/s done and the baby is..... A GIRL!!!!!! GO TEAM PINK!!!! Baby is doing great, she didn't want to sit still of course but the doc said all of her measurements are dead on and she weighs about 15 oz. Almost a pound now. So where the hell is all my weight coming from??? I haven't changed how I eat from before I got pregnant WTF???!!!!

Dec 18th- Had to go to doc and get on antibiotics for a damn bladder infection! Heartbeat was 155 baby sounds great.

Dec 24th - Normal appointment for 26 weeks. Heard HB asked doc about BH contractions because I have been getting them quite frequently. She wanted to check my cervix with U/S so we got to see my baby again. Hubby wanted the tech to make sure she didn't turn into a boy over the last few weeks. I know he wanted a boy, but we are so happy to be having our little princess. My cervix are great and contractions will just be a small annoyance and something the doc will keep an eye on b/c I had preterm labor with my son 10 years ago. Waiting til next week for my results for the glucose screen. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Aww thats sweet thank you=] I am so nervous for my baby lol. I don't want her to feel bad=[ I keep the tylenol and all the other meds in her diaper bag lol. You never know when they will need it! Your daughter was born only 4 days after mine! What is her name? She is precious!
