10/4/08--day of expected period
Took a home test and saw 2 lines!!!--I just felt different, deep down I could feel it. Not to mention Luis kept telling me I waspregnant!

10/20/08--6 weeks 1 day
Had my first ultrasound and got to see the flicker of the heartbeat! (120bpm). Made everything real for me, that's for sure. The ultrasound picture is just a little blob, but it's my little blob!

10/30/08--7 weeks 5 days
Torn between baby names! I know it may be a little early yet, but being undecided on names is driving me crazy! I know if it's a boy we'll be naming him BRAEDYN ALLEN LUIS, after my dad and the baby's dad, but I'm confused on girls names! I love the name ALEXA and the name REESE, and although I kind of wanted to name her after my mom, one of the girls suggested naming her ALEXA REESE and I've fallen in love! So for now I think these are the ones. We'll see  

11/24/2008--11 weeks 2 days
Had my 2nd prenatal appointment today! Didn't get an ultrasound, butI got to hear the heartbeat which was amazing! It's 144bpm, which seems slow to me, but the dr. said it's normal and everything looks fine. When he found the heartbeat, he said, "yep you have a real live baby in there" haha good to know! He said I'm pretty much in the clear with miscarriage and my weight gain is good. (3 lbs). Next appointment is the end of December!

12/7/2008--13 weeks 1 day
Had my first bout of morning sickness (well, early morning sickness--130am). uggghhh. Thought that was supposed to be over already!
I'm getting bigger, and anxiously awaiting another dr appt!

1/6/2009--17 weeks 2 days
Had my dr appt and everything is good! Baby's heartrate is 141 and is moving around like crazy! I've gained 4 lbs so far--doctor is happy that it's gradual. The "big" appointment is set for Feb. 2nd....I can't wait!!

2/2/2009--21 weeks 1 day
It's a GIRL! We're naming her Alexa Michele and we're oh so excited! We go back in 2 weeks for another u/s to check for cleft lip, and then again at 32 because she's already weighing over 1lb and is in the 95th percentile!

4/3/2009--29 weeks 5 days
Had GB testing, came out negative! I start my every 2 week appointments now!

4/16/2009--31 weeks 4 days
I've officially gained 35 lbs (not too excited about that) but pregnancy is going pretty well! Doc says her heartbeat is strong--132 bpm--and my uterus is measuring 32 weeks at this point. Biggest issue now is her size...she's in the 98th percentile now (99th is 10 lbs) and I'm having another U/S at 37 weeks to determine whether or not she's still really big. At that point they will give me the option of an elective C-section. I have a lot to think about and consider before my 37th week!
