My name is Jennifer, I'm 23 years old and married to the most wonderful in man. His name is Chris, he's 25 years old. We've been together for 8 years and married for almost 4. He proposed to me the night I graduated high school and I've never looked back.


Together, Chris and I have a miracle daughter. Aylianna is 3 years old. She was born with a rare liver disease called Biliary Atresia and had her first major surger at 26 days old. At 10 months old, Aylianna went into liver failure and was air ambulance to Lucille Packard Childrens Hospital to be placed on the transplant list. 5 days after her offical listing date, a new liver was accepted for Aylianna and the next morning she was in surgery receiving her gift. She was approx. 11 months old when she received her transplant and she has beaten all the first year post transplant statistics.


Hubby and I decided that once Aylianna reached 1 year post transplant, if she wasn't having any complications that could land us back in the hospital for months at a time again and her doctors were pleased with her progress... we would start trying for baby #2. And so came Bethany Nicole

Bethany Nicole was born on February 29, 2012 (yes, leap day) after being induced for high blood pressure,again. I was in labor for 14 hours and pushed for 20 minutes. She weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 19.5in long. She was jaundice and had to be readmitted for light therapy, which was scary for us because thats how our first was diagnosed, but she is perfectly healthy.

I love my family, and I love being a stay at home mom to my kids. We do want another one, but we decided to wait at least 4 years before we start trying again...just because me and my kids will always have a blood incompatibility that will end them up in the hospital getting light therapy and that's really hard on me and my husband emotionally and mentally because of what happened with our first born.
