I'm 20 years old. My husband and I got married July 12, 2008. We were together 3 of my 4 high school years and he proposed to me the night I graduated in 2007. A few short months after we got married I found out that I'm pregnant with our first child and we couldn't be happier!!! At the beginning of February we found out that we are having a baby girl making this experience even more exciting for us. Everyone is very supportive of us and I couldn't be happier with my life!




October 26. 2008: Positvie HPT

November 8, 2008: Trip to ER for dehydration, diagnosed with hyperemesis
pregnancy confirmed, u/s done

November 11, 2008: First Doctors visit. U/S done because ER u/s heartbeat was
measured slow @ 90bpm. Appt u/s 121bpm (much better)
Due date confimed 7/4/09 Next appt Dec 15th!

December 15, 2008: Second OB appointment. Babys heart rate 162

December 22, 2008: First Trimester Screening. Babys heart rate 154. Should get results next week. Saw the baby jump when the nurse tried to get heart rate.

January 15, 2008: Third OB appointment. Babys heart rate 150. Only gained 1 pound since becoming pregnant. Doctor broke the news that I am RH negative and have to get a shot at 28 weeks

February 3, 2009: Level 2 Ultrasound Anatomy Scan. Babys heart rate 142. Got to see all the babys organs... looking great. Found out we're having a baby GIRL!!!

February 12, 2009: Fourth OB appointment. Babys heart rate 148. Gained another 4.5 pounds (about a pound a week like I should be now). Everything looks and sounds good.

March 12, 2009: Fifth OB appointment. Babys heart rate 132. Still gaining weight on schedule... almost back to pre-pregnancy weight. After next appointment I start going every 2 weeks. Got orders for glucose test, anemia test, and rhogam shot on or after 4/10

March 19, 2009: 1 hour glucose test and anemia test... I'm not diabetic but i am anemic (another pill to take)

April 3, 2009: Sixth OB appointment. Babys heartrate 152. Start going every two weeks now. Scheduled next 4 appointments

April 13, 2009: Seventh OB appointment. Babys heartrate 140. Have to start doing kick counts to make sure baby is active. Was told to go pre-register at hospital and start looking for a pediatrician.

April 20, 2009: Rhogam shot done... not as bad as people say. It was given kind of like through an IV because they had to draw blood for their own blood type test.

April 28, 2009: Eigth OB appointment. Babys heartrate 142. Blood pressure was high at beginning of appointment, normal when checked at end. The was sugar in my urine, they said that could be because I had 2 glasses of orange juice this morning. Lost 1/2 a pound, but doctor isn't worried.

MAY: Looks like I decided not to keep up with this month.. but everything is still looking good... babys head is down in position in my pevis

June 9, 2009: 36 week appointment. Every week from here on. Babys heart rate 142... cervical check next week

June 16. 2009: Babys heart rate 137... 1cm dialated 50% thinned, -1 station. Blood pressure was a little high so the sent me for blood work to check for preeclampsia and I have to go back friday just for a blood pressure check, husband is suppose to monitor me

June 19, 2009: Blood pressure check, blood pressure still isn't going down. Bloodwork came back looking good, urine barely has protein. Pregnancy Induced Hypertension- I was sentenced to bedrest and will be reassesed on tuesday at reg. doc appt.

June 23, 2009: Doctor decided to send me to hospital to start induction. Admitted to hospital at 8:00pm. Started cervedil at about midnight.

June 24, 2009: Started pitocin at about 1:30pm. Water broke on its own at about 5:30pm. Got epidural about 8:00pm and then rested up

June 25, 2009: about 18 hours of labor and 3 hours of pushing, my little girl was born at 6:48am... 7lbs 15oz 19 and 3/4inches long. She's beautiful. Full head of dark hair and dark blue eyes!!!

I hope everything is going okay with your little girl! My little girl finaly came!
