Here is a little story of how I ended up being from ohio married to a guy from california and living in new york!
A year and a half ago I was headed down the wrong path. I was enrolled in college but often skipped class to go party or do something better. At this time I was with a guy for 3 years, we were planning on getting married in 2010. But this slowly started dwindling down. My best friend married a guy who was in the army and got stationed at Fort Drum New York. She asked me to come visit her and I could not refuse! Being from Ohio, the drive to New York was not too far. The guy I was with didn't want me to go but I went anyway. The first night I was in New York I met the man of my dreams,
love at first sight, for sure! His name was Matthew and he swept me off my feet! He was also in the army stationed at Fort Drum, but was from California. The 3rd night I was in New York, he asked me out, I just could not say no. I had completely forgot about the guy back home. Matt and I dated for 2 months and then he asked me to marry him. At this time, I only saw him on the weekends because I was living in Ohio during the week to go to school and work. But after being engaged for 2 weeks, we got
married! I know it was really soon but I had
never felt this way towards
anyone, ever in my life. I was certain he was the one for me!
On May 17th, my husband left for his tour in Afghnaistan. Our osn was only 2 and 1/2 months old and daddy won't return home again until our son is over 9 months old. I t breaks my heart that he is over there and missing out on so much with our son's life. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with in my life. ButI just deal with it anyway, I have no other choice. Support our stroops.
