My name is Jennifer, I'm 29, and I'm and ICU nurse living in southern Indiana. I've been married four years, but things have a way of getting in the way of starting a family. Then I caught a bad case of baby fever during Christmas 2007 and quit taking my BCP that January. DH officially came around to the idea in August.

Between PCB and Depo Provera, I was on some type of birth control for almost 10 years.I think my periods were regular back then, but I'm not sure. What I do know is that they're not regular now, so it's been very frustrating trying to figure out if the timing's not right or if there is a genuine problem.

In May I broke down and talked to my OBGYN about a fertility workup. He pointed out that my luteal phase may be the problem, as it usually runs 10-12 days. He prescribed two weeks of progesterone after I ovulate this month.
