My name is Stefanie and I have a wonderful husband named Brandon. We were married on May 6, 2006. Soon after we began ttc. We found out we were pregnant June 1, 2007 and I was so ecstatic. I had a miscarriage not long before so I was nervous as well. I was due on February 8, 2008. I had quite a few complications during my pregnancy. I was sick for the first five months. After that went away I started having pre-term labor, which caused me to start dilating at 30 weeks. I was in and out of the hospital getting shots to stop my labor. I also had to suffer through PUPPS. Mine was horrible. My stretch marks were practically bleeding. In the end, my baby girl came at 37 weeks 6 days with the doctors help. Before anyone jumps me, I was already 5 cm dilated and full effaced. I was afraid that if I went on my own an hour away from the hospital that there would be no time to get me there. When she got here on January 24, 2008 she weighed 9 lbs and was 21 inches long. She was not one bit early and was great nurser from the start. We have since changed to formula sadly. Mommy was just worn down. We tried to relactate but she was just not interested anymore. It was a definite learning experience and I will be able to do better next time now.
