My name is Danielle, I am just a small town, southern girl from North Carolina. I married the boy next door (we lived across the street from each other since he moved there when I was 5), and the love of my life on February 24th, 2007.
Our daughter joined us April 4th, 2009 at 4:32 pm. Her name is Peyton Lyndsey, she weighed 6lbs. 4oz, and is 19 inches long. She has a head full of golden brown hair and dark blue eyes, She looks just like daddy and acts just like mommy. I had the BEST pregnancy and birth I could have ever asked for, God has truly blessed our family and I can't wait to see what else he has in store for us.




My daughter is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to me. I enjoy every moment we are blessed to be together. She is growing and changing everyday. I love to watch her smile and hear her giggle. I have learned so much about what being a mother really is. I had to go back to work recently and it really broke my heart to leave her. Peyton is my world. I don't know what I ever did without her.

I could not have asked for everything to go better than what it did, I had a wonderful pregnancy and a great labor and delivery. I started having contractions at about 7pm Friday night and only had a few. I went on to bed and around 2am woke up with moderate, steady contractions. I got out of bed and began cleaning up the house to prepare to leave for the hospital. I started timing them at 5:30 and they were 6 minutes apart, by 6:30 they were 5 minutes apart. So we got packed, showered and left the house around 8, at this point they were 2 minutes apart.
When we arrived at the hospital she check me and I was 4 cm, 100%effaced. An hour later when she checked my progress I was at 5cm. They moved me into the room at 11 and by 1:30, I was having back labor, so I broke down and got the epi. It was wonderful! When she came back to check me at 3 I was 8cm and by 4 I was ready to go. My doctor arrived at this time and after she prepped everything and I started pushing, My little girl was finally here after only 5 -10 minutes of pushing! She is beautiful and perfect and I couldn't ask for anything better!
