Jonah was born Tuesday 18th of August 2009 at 5.04pm weighing in at 8lbs 1.5ozs.

The name is Ruth, im 21 years old nearly 22. i just gave birth to the most awesome little boy in the world, Jonah. He has a full head of dark hair and he just loves his food and his rain forest bouncer! He has changed my life so much, and i cant imgaine life without this wee guy, i love him so much. and yeah i would go through all that pain and discomfort of pregnancy for him. He was worth all the pain and sleepless nights.
I am a stay at home mum, im going to stay like that till Jonah is at school, as those first few years are the most percious years. and i am lucky enough to be able to stay at home with him. i am hoping to go back to college when he's at school, hopefully to study to become a midwife.
Yeah i am single, his daddy doesnt want to know, but you know what, my son isjust going to be loved just as much, and my family are a great support to me, and a daddy isn't everything. He has a mummy that loves him so much!
Jonah loves music, if he is a bitty unsettled, just put some music on, and he settles down, and he loves to fall asleep in my arms listening to me singing, only mummy will do, no one else!
I tried breastfeeding Jonah, but his blood sugars went very low so we have him on formula now and i also pump my breast milk for him too. He has put so much weight on, so i must be doing something right! lol
When Jonah was born he weighed 8lbs 1 and a half ozs, then at 5 days old, he was 8lbs 4ozs, then at 9 days old, he was a wopping 9lbs 2ozs!! My boy is a big boy!! lol Currently at 10 days old, he has out growen his new born clothes, and is on size 0-3 months!! He's my wee tubby baby but i love him!!

Yeah im a single mum, and im happy, not really intrested in getting a boyfriend anytime soon, im gonna deadicate all my time to my son, as he's the only man in my life now!

Iam christian. When i have a problem, i leave it in God's hands. Everything i do is for God's Glory. Yeah i will be a single mother, i have done really stupid things in the past, but God has forgiven me, and this baby will be brought up to know God, and i will teach my baby all about there heavenly father who loves them very much. Im glad we have a forgiven and loving God, he's given me such peace now, that i dont have to do the things i use to do in the past. If God can forgive a really bad sinner like me, he can forgive anyone! xx






2008
November 21st - My 21st Birthday
November 22nd/23rd - Got Pregnant
November 30th- started to feel yuckie
December 2nd - started having sore boobies and feeling 'different'
December 5th - first faint positive pregnacy test
December 7th - 2 Pregnacy tests, 1 faint and the clear blue digital saying the word ' pregnant'
December 8th- Doctor confirmed pregancy, given due date of August 18th 2009
December 12th - rushed into hospital with sore belly, they thought it was a ectopic prenacy, but turned out to be a kidney infection. while in hospital, got first scan
December 13th - Babies daddy left us
December 24th- 2nd scan to make sure baby was ok
December 31st- 3rd scan to make sure baby was ok, seen the heart beat.
2009
January 29th - 12 week scan
Febuary 5th- First midwife appointment, got new due date of 14th of August 2009, nearly fainted with giving bloods, have to go back next week to finish giving blood samples lol
Feburay 11th - Gave more blood samples,felt ok this time lol
Feburay 25th - Got more blood taken for the down symdroms test
March 1st - Taken into out of hours doctor, had mirgraine for 4 days straight, truned out to be a urine infection  
March 14th - Tim (brother) and Yolandas wedding
April 2nd - at 20 weeks and 6 days, i had my 20 week scan, and found out the sex of the baby, but keeping it quite, as its gonna to be a surpirse for everyone. oh had to wait nearly an hour for my scan as the nurses forgot i was there, so i got 8 scan pictures for free!! hehe oh and since the hospital lost a sample of blood i gave on the 5th of feb, i had to give more blood!
May 2nd- 25 weeks and 1 day, heard babies heart beat for the first time at the hospital, was fab, got checked out, and im fine
May 6th- 24 week midwife appointment, but i was actully25 weeks and 5 days atthe appointment. heard babies heart beat, got messured, and all the usual tests
May 27th - 28 weeks and 5 days, midwife appointment, gave blood sample, messured bump, felt bump, and listened to baby's heartbeat. recorded it aswell.
June 17th - 31 weeks and 5 days, midwife appointment, messured bump, and listened to heartbeat. everything is good.
June 22nd - Grandparents eveing at hospital, mum enjoyed learning about the new things
June 25th - Not felt baby move that much in the past couple of days, so went to out of hours doctor, and they sent me up to the hospital to the anti-natel ward, and i got a UCG done, and some very ice cold water to drink which made baby move loads!! Got to remember that one for next time. but got reasurred from midwife that everytihng is ok and to call them anytime if i need them. only 7 weeks and 1 day to go!  
July 1st - Midwife appointment, everything ok , also started anti-natel classes today
July 2nd - woke up to bad period like pains, were comming every 5 mintues, so went into hospital, im not in labour, just a really bad urine infection they say. but didnt give me any tablets, ohhwell
July 6th - Midwife came to the house to write up my birth plan. only 39 days to go!
July 14th - Finally got the pram and other things oh and ordered cot will be here in 2 weeks
July 15th - Went to midwife, got the usual tests done. was a different midwife this time, and there is no words to desribe her lol i was glad to get out of there lol
July 17th - Ordered cot 3 days ago and was told it would be here in 2 weeks, but it got here today!! woohoo!!  
July 21st - Got Hospital bag all sorted, and got the cot all set up for little Roo. Everything is ready now for the big day! only 24 days till little Roo is due!!!
July 23rd - Went to physio at hospital and i have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on both wrists, so got 2wrist brace's to wear.
July 28th - Repacked hospital bag, and made sure i had everything, and also took some stuff out as i had too much stuff! only 2 weeks and 3 days!
July 29th - Midwife appointment 37 weeks and 5 days   Everything good, bump measures 38
July 30th - Got an infection in my pinky   (little finger)
August 4th - Baby Shower  
August 9th - Started to get contractions, 5 mintues apart
August 10th - Taken into hospital with chest pains, they say im in very early labour
August 12th - Midwife appointment, tried to do a membrine sweep, but was tooo sore, so didnt bother with it, but did eat lots of curry and pineapple!  
August 13th - Lost my plug! lol
August 14th - Little Roo is Due   , Went into labour
August 15th - Still in labour, just waiting now
August 16th - went into hospital, , theres something wrong with my pelvis or something (cant remember what they said, but will update later) so have to stay on bedrest till i go into established labour. so this means on more bouncning on my birthing ball   lol
August 18th - Its a boy!! Jonah was born at 5.04pm weighing in at 8lbs 2ozs, after 12 hours of labour and only 2 pushes. he's weel worth it!  
August 20th - Jonah and i came home from Hospital
August 23rd - Jonah was weighed and he is now 8lbs 4ozs, he's such a big boy, he loves his milk and his bouncer! only 5 days old!  
August 25th - Jonah's cord feel off, he's got a cute belly button, 1 week old  
August 27th - 9 days old, now a wopping 9lbs 2ozs, he's such a wee fatty!!! lol
September 1st - Had to take Jonah to doctor, got a wee tummy bug. 2 weeks old
September 5th - short trip to hospital, but he's fine, nothing to worry about.
September 7th - Jonah screaming for hours, took to childrens hospital, he has a very bad case of colic, just have to wait it out till he grows out of it  
September 8th - im very sleep-deprived
September 19th - Jonah rolled from his back, onto his side, then onto his tummy!  
October 2nd - Jonah and mummycaught acold  
October 4th - Jonah enjoyed his first game of peek- a-boo
October 11th - Jonah's daddy got in touch for the first time
October 13th - Jonah's 8 week check up and first set of needles
October 31st - Jonah's first halloween, and first birthday party
November 1st - Jonah laughed and giggled for the first time
November 6th - Jonah turned on his side
November 7th - Jonah's daddy came to visit for the first time
November 8th - Jonah's deadication day
November 9th - Jonah discovered that he can turn around in his jumperoo
November 14th - Jonah discovers tv
