Hello ladies!! I'm Charlotte...very nice to meet everyone!! I am very much looking forward to being a mommy to my little boy. We found out we had a blighted ovum May 2008 so this go round is very nerve racking. Staying positive. Good luck everyone and congrats! He's already shaking my world up...kicking the life out of me and punching my ribs!! I never realized how much me and my husband were going to love this baby before he even comes out!! ::blowing sticky dust::

Dear Lord I pray for the families of babies that don't make it. Give them strength to know that you have plans for everyone and that everything happens for a reason. Dear Lord let everyone realize and be thankful for all the blessing in their lives.

Landon Christopher was born @ 37 weeks and 3 days on August 26, 2009 @ 6:48pm!! 6 lbs 14.6 oz 19 3/4 in long! He's is so perfect!!




1/16/09 Transvaginal ultrasound- baby 5 weeks and 4 days old
1/27/09 Transvaginal ultrasound- baby 7 weeks and 3 days old. We got to see, for the first time,the most perfect heartbeat ever of 133. I'm in love with baby Tierney. My fiance almost cried.My sister thinks it's a boy. Im saying girl...we shall see who's right!
2/17/09 First prenatal appt-pelvic exam, blood work, pee in cup, history, doppler to hear baby's heartbeat again. My uterus is tilted and the baby is right behind my pubic bone. After 15 LONG minutes the dr. finally found my baby with a 150 heartrate.
3/3/09 12 weeks ultrasound to see baby again, Quadscreening and cervix length (these two are just excuses to get insurance to pay for scan)...lol I really want one to see baby!
Ultrasound: Baby is doing great. Waving and kicking all over the please. Heartrate 157. No down syndrome and my cervix is "nice and long". We couldnt stop grinning!!

3/17/09 Had another OB appointment today. Baby is doing great. My dr found the heartbeat this time as soon as she touched my belly. Heartrate 150's. I can't find out the gender until I'm 20 weeks! I'm so aggrivated that she is one of "those dr's" that wont do the gender (anatomy) u/s until 20 weeks!! I want to know NOW!
4/09/09ITS A BOY (elective gender ultrasound)!!!Heartrate 146
4/14/09 OB check up 18 weeks 2 days. Heartrate 150's.
4/25/09 20 weeks mark-half way there.
4/28/09 Anatomy ultrasound ....everything looks good....the baby is facing my spine and breech so the tech couldnt quite get the pictures she wanted on some organs so we get another scan on June 9....fine by me! I love seeing my baby!
5/12/09 All is well!! Heartrate 130's. Kind of worried me but Dr said it's totally normal to have the baby's heartrate slow down...and she confirmed the old wives tale that boy babies usually DO have lower heartrates...it just may not be until late in pregnancy!!
6/9/09 He's doing great! Got all the pictures the dr needed-he's totally healthy. Head down now. Uummm a little big but great. He weighs 2 lbs 3 oz although he should only weigh 1 lb and 3/4. He's in the 58th percentile. I'm not sure on those specifics I just know it means he's a big baby and he has a big ole head just like his daddy!! Heartreate 154. He's very active and loves to abuse mommy's ribs. Going to do gestational diabetes test next week.

6/18/09 Gestational Diabetes test came back fine.
7/7/09Baby doing great, measuring a little farther than 30 weeks (I'm sure that's bc he's large). Heartrate 160.
7/21/09 32 weeks appt. Heartrate 150's.
8/4/09 34 week appt. heartrate good...didnt catch the number). 1 cm dilated. Blood pressure high. Activity restricted. Recheck next Tuesday to see if they want to put me on bedrest.
8/5/09 Contractions-finally called my doctor and she sent me straight to the assesment center at the hospital, contractions 5-10 minutes apart and 1 cm and 70% effaced at that point, kept me over night on IV and procardia and checked my cervix the next morning, it didn't progress too much so she let me go home. Now I'm on complete bedrest until 37 weeks-if I make it that far.
8/11/09 35 week appt -had to see one of my dr's partners bc she was out of town, blood pressure still high, 2 cm 70%, 2nd dr to tell me I am not going anywhere close to my due date, and that my dr is probably going to induce me...I'm guessing bc of my stupid blood pressure!! oh well, by the judge of my cervix (progressed in 5 days) and this big ole baby....everything is ready. Dr also reassured us that by this time baby's lungs should be good to go!!
8/18/09 36 weeks appt- 3 to 4 cm dilated, 80% effaced, head down, -1 stage, in position and ready to go. Dr said me and him are ready and it shouldnt be much longer. My bp was better 130/89...which is much better than before and if I make it until Monday (as in....havent gone into labor) then I can get off bedrest and go back to work until I blow!!
8/25/09 37 week appt. 4 cm 90% effaced.
8/26/09 Landon Christopher born @ 6:48 pm only 6 hours after my water broke in the mall....eeek!! Fast labor thank God!

27-30 weeks = 7 months - Complete
31-35 weeks = 8 months - Complete
36-40 weeks = 9 months -HE'S HERE!!! (37 weeks 3 days)

A girl thats due the day after me just had her water break early this morning   haha I told her I wanted to know her secret! But I know she'll come when she's ready! And its ok about the name! haha half my family still either can't spell it or says it wrong! I get so annoyed when they call her Makenzie!!
