My name is Melissa.
I was pregnant with my first baby sometime around mid- Dec 2006 and miscarried Feb 8th. My husband and I were devastated. Two weeks after the loss we were blessed with another baby. I carried my daughter to 39 weeks and one day. After many hours of labor, with no progression and the sudden drop in my baby's heartbeat, I was given an emergency c-section at 7:49pm.. My daughter, Amaya Sage, was born 11/15/07. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 9ozs. and was 20 1/2 in. long. My hubby and I are EXTREMELY happy and blessed to finally have her in our lives.
Alexandra Elena made her appearance into this world at 40 weeks 1 day gestation via planned c-section. She was born on 6/19/12 at 11:48am. She weighed 6lbs 10oz and was 19 inches long. Her sister and I couldn't be happier to have her join our lives. <3
