My name is Alex and I am 19 engaged to the love of my life, Andrew. We had a daughter together on July 19th, 2009 6:35pm. Lily Ann Rain Lindsay weighed in at 7lbs 7oz and measured 19.5inches at exactly 39wks gestation. My labor lasted around 18 hours and my mother and Andrew were in the delivery room with me--while much of my family waited outside. Andrew has a 3 year old daughter, Hailyn from a previous relationship--she is adorable and so happy to be a big sister!
Pregnancy:::
November 15 - Found out I am pregnant! 118lbs
Jan 20th - 1st doctor appt. got to here the heartbeat! : )
Feb 13- 2nd Dr Appt (but 1st with this doctor, tryin out a new obgyn) Hopefully they will schedule me for an u/s im dying to know what it is!!!
Feb 13- I am scheduled for another appt next fri..then i get to have my u/s scheduled... nothing exciting happened. I didnt even get to here the heartbeat : (
Feb 20 - Dr.Appt 140bmp! weight 133lbs!(OMG)
March 5th- 1st U/S get to find out what my munchkin is!!! ITS A GIRL !! Lily Ann Rain
March 7th - Daddy felt you move for the first time @ 19wks. 6days!!
March 24th- Everything is looking good!
April 8th - Glucose Test 7:50 am uhhh... (FAILED... i was 149)
April 21st- Baby still measuring 1 week ahead. Weight: 150lb.
April 22nd - 3hour glucose test 7:50am ...test results are in and everything is normal: )
May 2nd- getting my Rogham shot
May 19th- 30wk dr appt. weight:161lbs
June 2nd - 32wk dr appt. weight 165lbs.
June 4th- baby shower
June 6th - Went into Labor and Delivery had irregular contactions 2min & 4 min apart. They hooked me up with fluids and a few hours later got contractions to stop and I left at 4am
June 18th- 34wk dr appt & U/S!!! weight 169lbs. Baby Lily weighed approx 5lbs 14oz..she looked so perfect on the flat screen : )
June 30th- My 36wk dr appt. weight 177lbs.1 cm dialated!
July 7th - 37wk dr appt. weight 172lbs. Didnt ask to be checked. Predicts Lily will be around 8lbs.
July 17th - 38wk dr appt. 1 cm dialated 50% effaced. weight 178lbs!
Juky 23rd - 39wk dr appt. (secretly hope I dont need to go
)
July 19th- went into labor around midnight, water broke at 7:30am--6:35pm she is here weighing 7lbs 7oz at 19.5in long! Lily is so perfect!
July 26th- Lily's Due date
Birth: 7lbs 7oz 19.5inches
3 days: 6lbs 12oz
5 days: 7lbs
1 month: 7lbs 12oz 20.5inches
2 month:9lbs 4 oz 21.25inches
4months: Dr Apointment 11/24/09
I gained a total of 65lbs during my pregnancy. I started loosing weight the day I had Lily on July 19th, 2009. I topped the scale at 180lbs and am trying to get back to my prepregnancy weight of 115lbs. In 3 months time I am down 40lbs...25left to : )
As of October 31st I have surpassed my goal weight...and am now 137lbs--22 to go : )
