HOLA!!! I'm April. Let's just say you will never meet anyone like me again.
I'm 25 years of awesomeness rolled up into one human. I have one daughter and one husbnad (that I know about).
My husband and I live a very
free spirited, frank, and casual life. People admire how happy we are. We are satisfied with what we have and work our asses off! We are
lighthearted and enjoy raising our daughter in a
stress free, no label, open minded household outside of the
judgmental abhorrence of society. I couldn't agree more with his ethics and ideals of wanting to live in a progressive and
radical household!!!!

Your mom
Iris started walking well 2 weeks before her 1st birthday, took her first steps around 11 months.
Her list of words is growing every day, we try to learn a new word every day.
Her fav color is purple, fav animal is a Kitty, and loves any kind of food with STRONG flavor.
We practice an
whatever works parenting style. I am a huge
breastfeeding advocate. Even though I live this way
I will NEVER put a mother down for her parenting choices, I will
NEVER judge you for your life choices. Everyone has their own beliefs, morals, lifestyles and family. What works for me, might not work for you and who am I to tell you that you are wrong.
I am very easy to talk to so don't be afraid to ask me questions, if I don't know the answer, I can find someone who can!
I wrote a very informative paper on Breastfeeding and Working entitled "Breastfeeding: Going for the Gold While Working"... this was a requirement in order for me to graduate from college with a BS in Public Health.
It's based off of stories from momma's here on BG!
I'm proud of this paper. I got an award for it.
I AM AN ATHEIST!!!
I don't take that statement lightly. I know more about the bible than a lot of Christians. I have studied the bible, in and outside of a church. I have also studied other religious books. Christians are the only ones who usually get offended by my choice of lack of beliefs. If you get offended by my life choices then you need to rethink who you are. Again, I will never judge you for being who you are.
If you have any questions about atheism then please ask, I leave you with 10 myths about atheists.
Myth 1 ~ "Atheists are all the same"
Myth 2 ~ "Atheists have no morals, since they don't believe in God"
Myth 3 ~ "Atheists believe in evolution, but that doesn't answer as many questions as creationism"
Myth 4 ~ "Atheists cannot know there is no God, since you cannot prove he doesn't exist"
Myth 5 ~ "Atheists seek to remove religion from society, and to force all people to be atheists"
Myth 6 ~ "Atheists are so closed-minded, they can't see that miracles happen every day!"
Myth 7 ~ "Atheists are pushing a negative sentiment, and have a dreary life"
Myth 8 ~ " If atheists are right, then religious people are wasting their time, but at least they're happy."
Myth 9 ~ "There are no such things as atheists" a.k.a. "There are no atheists in foxholes"
Myth 10 ~ "This country was founded by Christians, on Christian values, and should therefore be a Christian country".
Atheists is just the lack of religion. It is not proving there is no god. It is not flat out denying creationism, it is just a lack of belief in god and all things associated. It isn't meant to be the answer to all things.
Think of this, less than 1% of the prison population is atheist...and yet, religious people say we have no morals. You can not prove to me directly that there is no god, so why should I have to prove there isn't one. The ideas that miracle happen every day is preposterous! Well, the day that the world is AIDS free.. that will be a miracle...someone's cancer going into remission is not a miracle, it is an act of science, technology, and a very lucky person.
I seek the need for people to make their own choices about what they believe, and it's my dream to someday to be very open about what I believe to my friends and family who are very Christian. I push to put a very positive influence on the world by helping other people, volunteering every free moment I can to better society. Be a thinker, and choose for yourself, not what society tells you to choose, be who you want to be!!!!
Feel Free to PT me, but don't be shy to say hello once and a while.
You can also always add me on facebook.
