Hello! My name is Courtney. I'm 23 years old and just had a beautiful baby girl named Hailey Allison February 15th, 2008! I can't decribe thehow much I love her! She's such a blessing to our lives!Everything in life seems to be fallinginto place right now. My boyfriend is a wonderful dad and I love watching him with her. .I found this website thru friends who were using the tickers and then I came across the forum. It's always nice to talk to other expectant mothers, new and verterans. Haha. I myself have about 6 friends who all just had babies, so it's nice to not be alone in this situation for the first time. How is everyone feeling? I just have to say the wait and all the pain is worth it!! I went into labor onValentinesDay. My friendtook me to get a pedicure (by the way, if you're at least 37 weeks and wantbaby to come out, goget a pedicure lol), and as we were about to get intoher car afterwards my water broke! So, she rushed me to the hospital. By thetime I got there, my pants were SOAKED. Oh well, ladies, if this happens to you, dont be embarrassed. I laughed it off. People know you didnt pee your pants haha. So anyway, to make this LONG story short, I didnt have contractions until I was given pitocin 5 1/2 hours after I had been admitted, at 10 pm.They hurt! I cannot explain the pain, but it's aweful! So I got my epidural and basically I dialated too fast somy epidural ended up not working and I felt everything. It's very very very painful. If you wanna go natural... all I have to say is.. you're nuts. lol. BUT if you do want to go natural and this is your first baby, the pain is gone INSTANLY after they're completely out. It'svery weird haha. All of it was 100% worth it and I would do it all over again! We plan on having one more, although I would like 2 more I think. I just love my daughter and I would love to have more. She's 2 months now and her personality is starting to come out and every day is something new and exciting!! Hope to hear/read more stories from all of you! If anyone ever wants advice or to share experiences, dont be afraid to message me!
