UPDATE: September 18th, 2009
Our baby boy was born Saturday, September 12th, 2009. My water broke at 4:00 a.m. We got to the hospital at 4:30. I was dilated to a full 10 cm. at 8:00 a.m. Started pushing at 9:10 and he was born at 9:42 a.m.!!!! Very quick labor for a first time mommy.   A 5 hour labor that only includes half an hour of pushing is fine with me!! Plus, he was born in the posterior position, (sunny side up) which the doctors said shouldve made pushing take a lot longer but i must just be a pro. ;)

Even though Ryder was 3 weeks early, he still weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 19 inches long. So he was definitely ready to come out! He has gorgeous blonde hair and for now his eyes are blue. He looks just like his daddy.   We love him so much and love being parents! He is the best blessing; he makes my life so much more fulfilled. I love my two boys!
