Currently residing in Woodstock, Georgia. I moved here in November of 2007 to be with my boyfriend. It was a leap of faith, considering I have zero family on this coast and left everyone and everything I know back home, but it was worth it. I got my little girl out of the deal  
I enjoy Mexican food, ice cream, ridiculous sunglasses, animals, Dr. Pepper, texting, marijuana, making people feel stupid and late night drives/walks.
I don't enjoy most fruits/veggies, spiders, cold weather, morons, hobos, action movies, religious fanatics or my mother.

I'm excited and a nervous wreck for my little Panda to get here. I love her more than anything. I just want to be able to provide for her the way she deserves. She's inspired me to get out and do something with myself and to have goals and for that, she's my little hero already. She looks just like her daddy and has a wonderful sense of humor [bladder punches, anyone?]. She's also NOT a morning person and hates scary movies. I think we'll get along just fine.
I was going to name her Arilyn Rose, but it didn't "feel" right, meaningful or not. Now, thanks to BD's stepdad, her name is going to be Auriana [are ee ah nuh] Paige.
Explanation of her nickname, Panda: I've been getting this a lot. It's really very simple. Her dad is black and Chinese, I'm white [and stuff]. Pandas are black and white and they're from China. Plus pandas have been my favorite animal for years. Wham bam, there's the nickname. Plus, it saved me from calling her an it until I found out the sex.

March 26-27: LMP, only lasted for about a day, then nothing, then 2 days later had spotting.
April 24 pm: very very faint bfp. Trying again in the morning.
April 25 am: another faint line. Darker than yesterday.
April 25 pm: took a Clearblue digital and the result issss
April 27 am: went to Hope center to get confirmed, they said the line was "too faint" for them to consider it a positive   came home, took another Clearblue, result was pregnant AGAIN.
April 28 am: got pregnancy confirmed at the health department instead.
April 28 pm: psychiatrist appointment, I have to decide whether I want to take my mood stabilizers and risk harming the baby, or not take them and risk harming it myself.
April 30 pm: Medicaid appointment.
May 5 pm: First prenatal checkup. Everything checks out great and normal so far. They want to keep contact with my psychiatrist because of bipolar.
May 11 pm: first appointment at the Hope center. Took my confirmation so they wouldn't do another test on me. Got started in their program.
May 19 am: Second checkup, first ultrasound. Everything checked out great. HB 122. All the tests came back perfect except for toxo, so i can't clean the litter box. AT ALL, no exceptions. Was told that I'm measuring 6 weeks instead of 8  
June 15 am: checkup with the midwife :] didn't make it, rescheduled for July 1st.
July 1 am: checkup with the midwife. Heard the heartbeat, everything is going well, minus having a UTI   that i didn't even know about!
July 13 pm: FELT BABY MOOOOOVE!
July 14 am: had "confirmation" ultrasound at Hope, got my due date changed. I'm now due 8 January 2010. I went back in time   Heartrate is 150, everything looks great.
July 24 am: went to the doctor due to cramps. Everything checked out fine, heard Panda's heartbeat and it's LOUD and strong. He/she moved while the doctor checked  
July 29 am: another checkup. Heartrate was 162 and loud again   and Panda moved like 5 different times while she was checking. Also got bloodwork for the Down Syndrome and CF tests. And no more UTI thank god.
August 18 am: had the BIG ultrasound. IT'S A GIRL!   No Down Syndrome, no CF. Every body part is where it's supposed to be. Heartrate 146. Anterior placenta. She's also measuring ahead and is already 12 oz, so maybe I'll get my December baby after all.
First week of September: had kidney pain, everything is ok. Also started feeling/seeing Arilyn move from the outside  
September 15 am: checkup   Heartrate 144, lookin' good, glucose test next week  
October 1 am: Glucose test, since it sort of flooded the week I planned to get it.
October 13 am: checkup. HB 146-148, measuring 28 weeks. Got the Rh shot   and passed the glucose test woop!
October 27 am: checkup. 2 week appointments already! HB was good. Refused the swine flu shot.
November 10: checkup. HB 146. Measuring the same as always, got maternity leave papers done and now I get to call up there and ask why they put me as going on leave the day after I'm due, especially if they don't see me going past Christmas.
November 11: started seeing the psychiatrist again. They want me to go back to group therapy, thereby making me probably lose my job. Joy, joy.

What was your reaction?: I got super shaky and started laughing. Hysteria?
What was the baby's father's reaction?: He drank himself into a coma for a week straight.
What was the parent's reactions? My mom bitched, my dad was awkward, his mom and nana are like "uh, give it away" and his stepdad is stoked.

Will you videotape or take pictures?: Not personally.

MISCELLANEOUS
Did you have morning sickness?: I have puked a handful of times and it wasn't even pregnancy related, it was medication related.
Did you have any cravings? I always have cravings. Nothing new.
Did you have any mood swings?: I'm bipolar. And ended treatment because of pregnancy. You figure that one out.
Are you a high risk pregnancy?: Never.
Any complications?: Just a friendly neighborhood UTI.
Formula or breastfeeding?: I want to attachment parent. You guess.
Have you bought anything for baby yet?: Mostly just had some things given to me.
When did you start to show?: I don't know. She came popping out of nowhere.
How long could you wear your regular clothes?: I'm still in them. I can wear one pair of jeans, half of my shirts and my work clothes. I've had to buy new bras though.
Are you excited?: I'm getting there. Wayyyy more nervous.
Who will help with baby after their born?: My awesome friends. Maybe James if he decides to pull through.
What is your favorite thing about being pregnant?: I do have an excuse to be late from break and sit down at work now.
