My name is Kristen. I have been a Baby-Gaga member since 2007. I am 22 years young, and I am not your stereotypical young mother. I have a full time job with North Georgia Mountain Crisis Network where I am a legal advocate for domestic violence and sexual assault victims. I am also one semester shy of being a nurse!




I have been with my wonderful boyfriend for 2 years now. He isn't my daughter's father, but he claims her as his own. They are very close and I am very thankful to have him in our lives! We are very blessed and hope to have our own child when the timing is right!

My daughter, Alayna Jacquelyne Lindley has been a fighter from day one. She was born at 28 weeks gestation and weighed in at 3lb 11 1/2 oz & 17 inches long. She was due on March 19, 2008 and was born on January 4, 2008. We were in Erlanger Hospital's NICU in Chattanooga, TN for 6 long weeks.She has an attitude of her own and she is very spoiled considering she is the only baby in the family. She is my world, and I can't imagine my life without her. I love being a mommy & everything that comes with it!

She came home on the apnea monitor too. She was on it for 7 or 8 months. I know how you feel about seeing other kids their age and what they are doing. When ever we go somewhere and ppl ask how old she is they are like oh so shes walking, and when I tell them no, they just kinda look at me so then i explain that she was early.
