Our son is here!! He was born 03-06-09 (<<How cool is that date?) He was born 3 wks 1 day early at a healthy 7lbs 6oz (although the doctor told me 7.10 on the OR table). He tried coming early for us at 29wks 3days, and then when it came right down to it, he didn't want to come! We have a stubborn little man. After being dialated to a 4, not effacing much at all, and his heart rate dropping into the 60s every time I got pitocin or was on my side, an amnio infusion to see if the cord or he would float for a very long long ten hours, we determined a C-section would be the very best thing for both him and myself . So there I went. Scared to death...second child, first CS. Good thing we did! The cord was wrapped around his neck. But he came out with no problems at all. We were so overjoyed. Our family is now complete.

I am 24. I have this awesome toddler who loves to throw temper tantrums, and run and "get" me and laugh her pretty little head off. Her favorite words are "color" "mommy" and "please". Her current play list of favorite songs include "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Pat a Cake". We love to blast kid songs in the car and sing along. She is learning sign language and has learned more, please, and eat. We can count tofour on our own andcan now count objects. She has these amazing ninja skillz and can do a sneak attack and kick your ass. She is a total drama queen and spoiled little princess. She is my everything and waking up and seeing that beautiful face makes even the hardest of days worth it. And my new little guy...well...what can I say? He completes me. :-)

I have this amazing guy in my life. He has stepped up to be a fantastic father to my daughter and we now have one more to add to the mix. I am blessed to have found someone to fall asleep with every night and wake up to every morning.

I've been here on BG for...over two (gasp!) years and I love it. I've met some of my closest friends here and it's the best thing that has ever happened to me (besides my ninja of course)!
