Hello. My Name Is

I am a mother of a beautiful 3 year old girl. Audrey Leigh, born October 15th, 2009.
I was married to her father for 2 years, but we separated due to him being an abusive alcoholic. Luckily for our little her he has since cleaned up his act and we now share custody of her. It's hard when she's not around, but she is happy and she has a huge family that loves her to the moon and back.
I'm now engaged to a wonderful man who loves me and my little girl unconditionally.
Thomas.
We started trying to conceive in August 2012 but after suffering a miscarriage in December we decided to quit trying for a while, but someone had bigger plans for us and on Saturday March 23rd we found out we were expecting again and were already about 5 1/2 weeks along! Our second baby is due November 19th and we are ecstatic!
I manage a restaurant during the day and at night I go to school. I'm working towards a nursing degree and will eventually go on to get a masters in midwifery.

When I conceived my daughter, natural birth became an obsession for me. Appalled at my OBGYN for laughing at me when I suggested I wanted to give birth naturally, I knew that I wanted to help spread the importance of child birth in the most natural form possible. I know that not everyone can give birth naturally for various reasons, however the majority of women CAN have a completely natural birth with a healthy baby and mama. Midwifery is not what it has been perceived in our recent culture. It's been depicted as some back woods, crazy person rubbing oil on your feet and chanting to encourage a healthy birth. Midwives now days are highly trained medical professionals. 6+ years of education in natural child birth is nothing to scoff at, and I'm on a mission to spread that message!

New age or old school? I'd love to find the right images for a dark one. The advanced features are little things you can unlock like the ability to use a layout or parent tank only posts. You have to participate in a number of annoying surveys. On your homepage, under your profile picture and number of topic replies, at the bottom there is the advanced features button. If you click it, from there it should take you to a list of surveys.
