Im back on BG!!
havent been on in a few years but im back and expecting baby #2!! Im now 22 yrs old and ive only been with my boyfriend now for about 5 months. Im completely in love and know hes the man i want to spend my life with. Hes everything ive ever wanted and more. He has 3 kids of his own which we have half of the week so things are kinda crazy sometimes. But we are happy and excited for the new baby! btw this will be my last lol 2 is my max! Quick update on Ava..Shes so beautiful and so unbelievably smart!! No one believes me when i tell them shes only 2 yrs old

This is Ava Jayne. Shewas born July 23, 2009 @ 12:22 am via c section. She was 9 lbs 12 oz and 22 in. long. She's my everything!
Labor Story: I was 42 weeks pregnant and went in to be induced on the July 21st. They put the cervidil in over night and took it out the following morning at about 8 am..then started the pitocin. At this point i was about 1 to 2 cm and 60% effaced. I started getting contractions and a few hours later, when i was 4 to 5 cm i got an epidural..then vomitted because it made me so sick..BUT an epidural is a beautiful thing..i felt no more pain.. until hours later ..around dinner time it started to wear off. The nurse said i was ten cm and almost ready to push so they woudnt give me more epidural...i was in pain and feeling a lot of pressure. The doctor came in soon after and said that the nurse was wrong..i was not 10 cm..i was notready to push.. i was only 8 cm. I got a little bit more epidural but when i sat up quick to vomit, yet again, the medicine only went to one side..so i labored for a few more hours with one side of my body numb..and the other in extreme pain. At 9 oclock the doctor came back in ..checked me and turns out i had not progressed at all ..i was still 8 cm and the babys heart rate dropped every time i had a contraction..so they put me on oxygen and took me off the pitocin.. the doctor told me i was going to have to have a c section. There were other ppl before me so i continued to have contractions for the next 3 hours until it was finally my turn...Everything went good
.. it was finally over!! lol It was the worst day ever ..until Ava was born that night lol. The doctor sed i never wud have went into labor on my own.. she ws too big and too high up and under my ribs. My doctors never told me how big she was when i had ultrasounds.. so the doctor who delivered her sed that if they had told me and we knew she was 9 lbs, 22 inches, overdue and i was still carrying high..we cud have scheduled a c section a week earlier and had this over with already. I was pissed... but its all over with now..and we're both healthy..and thats all that matters!
